Sorry I missed chatting with you Suz & Vicki! School started today. It seems like all I've been doing is filling out forms, over and over and over again! I wonder if anyone actually reads the stuff we send back in!

I can totally relate except they're my own forms! Gr. The financial office has STILL not mailed our award letters. I can't accept my loans, my scholarship is "missing" and my tuition has to be held and I can't even charge my books!
I keep filling out paperwork but it's not doing any good.. I still don't have books even though I already got homework tonight and no book to do it with!

However.. my friend introduced me to a fellow..and we hit it off amazingly! I always thought people were full of *you know* when they told me you just meet someone and it works... but so far, so good!

..*cough*.. It's 2am.. could I be back to my insomniac ways?..

No, she's an old kitty.

I volunteered at the local Humane Society my Junior year of high school and no one wanted her.
She was there for weeks-- came in with her mom and litter mates. I think there were 4 of them to begin with. All the others were sleepy, purry-full little things and Reese was rambunctious and always wanted to play. She didn't like to be held, at all. After two weeks she was set to be euthanized and I begged my Dad to let me adopt her-- he finally gave in and even when we went to get her that day he second guessed me the whole time because she did NOT want held.

Now she's the sweetest, happiest, most playfulest kitty in the whole wide world. She loves to be pet (she drools when shes really happy!).. my dad sure was wrong on that one! Even he is in love with her.

.. Long story short, she's my rescue of sorts!

Could you photo copy the basics like address and who to contact in case of emergency and then add each kid's name?

They're all turned in now, but I thought of doing that. It probably would have worked if I had a supply of card stock. The other issue was that the two in high school have different emergency numbers than the little one (because I have friend who work closer to their school than hers). Between that, different school ID numbers, SS numbers, etc... there are as many variables as there are constants. I bit the bullet and filled them all out. I'm glad I'm done for another year. It would be nice to be able to submit it once, elctronically. Maybe some day.....

I remember hearing, back in the dark ages when computers were NEW, that we would SOON be a paperless society. I cannot see that happening! Even the cases where stuff is submitted electronically, they make paper copies anyway. I guess because computers crash or they think it needs to be in a file drawer not in a laptop.
