It feels so nice to just be home on a weeknight at 7:00 and not running to dance, lacrosse, girl scouts, chorus, etc.

haha i'm sure it does. i'm going to go out and run in a little bit. after my dinner finishes settling in my stomach

I do my 5 miles every morning after the 2 yougest get on the bus at 8:30. My youngest is in first grade this year so it's the first time in 11 years I've had the whole day to myself. Everyone keeps asking me if I'll go back to work now and I keep thinking "not if I can help it"

my neighbor did the 1/2 marathon in Disneyland last week

ooo i wanted to do that. but i couldn't because of my parents leaving and such. and it would have been a lot to fly out there and stay. see jan we use vacation club points. so i just pay my $79 flight to orlando and the race fee

Yes indeed. I run in the rec center for now. I'd really love to run around campus cause it's such a beautfiul campus, but I don't know any distances yet so I run in the rec center to know how far I run. 9 times around is a mile so you can imagine how bored I get running around the track 27 times.

My bil does iron man competitions but wants to do the DW marathon in 2008 if he does I think we'll all go the cheer him on.

That's a small track yikes. Is the campus pretty safe to run around on your own?

I think so. I feel pretty safe at night on campus. But I'd probably try to run earlier in the day if I was to run around campus just for vision purposes. We have these blue pole things ALL around campus that if you get scared you can push the button and talk to the police and ask for an escort if you want.

you run the half marathon on saturday and the full marathon on sunday
