The only time I ever found fleas was on my cat when I first moved to Florida and he spent time lounging in my screen room. I found them jumping on a baby blanket that I had laid out on the floor. Put a light colored towel or something on the floor and watch and see if anything jumps on and off it. I am a guilty overpacker as well. But DH is no help. I set aside THREE dresses, knowing full well I will only wear two (formal night and Palo), and he asks me "you're not taking the white one?"
So now I'm bringing four. *sigh*
I'm going to have to whittle it down a bit. There are only two of us! We don't need that much! But then I try and get all practical like "what if I spill something, what if something gets wet/dirty, what if I get all sweaty" etc. So when you see the childless couple with 4 suitcases, you will know that is us.
