Somebody PLEASE help me out here . . . to be a nerd, or not to be a nerd, that is the question. We've probably already had this discussion, but I'm losing confidence in my plan. Should my family wear the matching red Mickey Hawaiian shirts that I bought (remember there are 5 of us and my children are 12, 12, and 10) or should I take them back ? (REALLY be honest)
I say, if they will do it, do it! How many more times will you get to do that? It's very cute in pictures! I wanted to do it but never got the shirts. If ever there was a place to do that, Disney is the place! It's okay to be a little nerdy, as long as it's Disney-nerdy!

Thanks, he's a sweety.
He's adorable! Do you use any flea treatment on him? I use Revolution on Rocky. It's expensive but it seems to really work. I've had neighbors tell stories about pulling ticks off their dogs (and seeing them walk up their walls  :scared1: ) but I've never seen ANYTHING. (THANK GOD!!!!)

He takes a heartworm pill that the Vet told me was for fleas, too. He said it means that fleas can get on him but they'll die and the pill kills any babies they might leave behind, they're unable to hatch. I don't know. They looked toooo big to be fleas and there were only two, but I guess I've never seen fleas before.
He's due for another pill, it's probably been almost two months since he's had one but I haven't had the money.. :guilty: :guilty:

The only time I ever found fleas was on my cat when I first moved to Florida and he spent time lounging in my screen room. I found them jumping on a baby blanket that I had laid out on the floor. Put a light colored towel or something on the floor and watch and see if anything jumps on and off it. They were really tiny and they moved really fast.

:confused3

Does anyone here use AOL? I just changed my plan to their free one. :thumbsup2

I forgot about that. Yea it was a pain last year filling all that info out about 12 times the night before debarkation! I haven't see the new luggage tags yet though :rolleyes1

I wonder if the return address self-stick labels would be ok? We have those - of course, there are only two of us, and only two bags total.....I'll probably still bring them though. :rotfl:

I'm sitting here pondering the same thing. There are 6 of us so it would definitely be helpful!

I thought I read recently that you still have to write them out on the last day. But who knows it could have been a bad dream. I still have to do it for the land portion so I am just going to print some extras. :thumbsup2

The swap meet sounds very cool! Sorry about the misunderstanding. Everyone here usually understands each other's questions pretty easily. I tried to C L A R I F Y my question on that thread, let's see if I get any better responses. :confused3 :teeth: (I meant well, I swear! :teeth: )

I thought maybe it was some Disney thing, that's why I wondered. (God forbid I miss an opportunity to shop for Disney merchandise! :rotfl2: )

Have fun! Shopping for anything in specific?

I say wear them, if the family actually wants to. BECAUSE you can't get away with it anywhere else but at Disney. Right? Plus, it's cute for pictures. Now, if everyone is not on board, I would say take them back.

I am a guilty overpacker as well. But DH is no help. I set aside THREE dresses, knowing full well I will only wear two (formal night and Palo), and he asks me "you're not taking the white one?"
So now I'm bringing four. *sigh*

I'm going to have to whittle it down a bit. There are only two of us! We don't need that much! But then I try and get all practical like "what if I spill something, what if something gets wet/dirty, what if I get all sweaty" etc. So when you see the childless couple with 4 suitcases, you will know that is us. :rotfl:

Well, I don't know if this helps, but...you can always buy something! :rotfl:

Patsy, I haven't had to do heartworm medication in probably ten years, so I could be remembering wrong, but be careful because can't heartworm medication kill your pet if they have heartworms?

If they were too big to be fleas, could they have been ticks? Or just regular bugs?
