Disney Wonder Sept 3-7, 2006 Part 3

I'm back . . . I can not wait to see this guy! Both on the cruise and in the parks! Okay, so I can't wait to see "those" guys!

I began packing and I'm having wardrobe issues already. I haven't mixed and matched a thing. I already know that I'm going to overpack (and I've only picked out clothing for the 4 evenings)!

Somebody PLEASE help me out here . . . to be a nerd, or not to be a nerd, that is the question. We've probably already had this discussion, but I'm losing confidence in my plan. Should my family wear the matching red Mickey Hawaiian shirts that I bought (remember there are 5 of us and my children are 12, 12, and 10) or should I take them back ? (REALLY be honest)

Some days, I feel like I'm 19, others I feel like I'm 100! The funniest part is that I meet a lot of moms who are younger than me and act waayy too frumpy. I don't ever want to be frumpy. Yikes! I like the same music that my kids do. My 6 year old never knew a nursery rhyme but she could rock out to Linkin Park with the best of 'em. (I LOVE Linkin Park!!!! Ask poor Logan & Conor who have to hear me singing to their music all the time! Mighty scary! )

Your house sounds like mine!!! The girls were printing out lyrics tonight and rockin out on the microphones to Avril Lavine and Aly and Aj. I didn't need to lookat the lyrics because I knew them

Oh I say wear them, really!!!! It always looks great in pictures and you'll have fun.

That's really the only reason I got them, they'll make a great Christmas picture!

BTW, I'll be the last of my friends to hit the big 4-0 too. I'm only hitting number 3-9 in a couple of weeks, but I'm considering either staying there or going back to oh, say, 33.

I knew Rink needed a haircut.. and I didn't want to spend the extra cash I've got doing that before the cruise.. so I opted to do it myself.. and I don't think it went very well.
I now feel like a horrible owner.

I started snipping at fur and grazed his skin once but he still let me keep trimming.. but once I guess I really got him because he took off and made a horrible yelp..

I also saw two bugs! The vet said he doesn't have fleas, that he would just be scratching at his ears until the fur grew out of the ear canal.. now I don't know how credible this vet is! I'm a little upset. My puppy has bugs

I'm going to be very, very, very mad if he has fleas after i JUST expressed my concern that he might to the Vet and he told me he did not.
Grr...

So DH and his pals are in the dining room playing Pirate's Dice. One of the guys made it instead of buying the "official" version. It looks pretty fun!

DH is asking if he can bring it on the cruise.....we'll see if the guy says ok!

We have the "official" version of Pirate's Dice, and I wasn't that impressed. I thought it was actually a little boring. However, it's convenient for travel (doesn't take up much room) and my DH swears that it's more fun the more people you have playing.

Well we got our teacher assignments today but no documents, so I'
m still in the running for the last to get them. Sorry Dawn Everyone seems happy with their teacher letters but my 8 year old did get split up from her 2 best friends and they together so that was a little tough but not traumatic

Whoot! I got mine! I'm so excited! Though I have to say...what was on the first page of the booklet that they ripped out of mine? Very curious. My TA must have mailed mine the minute he got the e-mail!
