LCTsMom said:Hi everyone! Hope all is well out here in DISland. My modem got fried during a lightning storm this past Saturday. I had a Comcast tech at my house for an hour and half today but he could not figure out what's wrong. He tried replacing the modem with two new modems and still no luck. I am currently at my neighbors checking my emails. As soon as I am able to connect to the internet I will try to catch up on the 23+ pages that I am behind. If anything big happens out here, please contact me via email. I am able to check my email from my phone.
Miss you guys! It's lonely in my house these days, with no DIS friends to chat with.My kids start school tomorrow...all that's left for me to do now (without the DIS) is GASP ... clean! ICK
Bye for now.![]()

Hopefully we'll be able to complete the trip tomorrow, and then I'll have access the the two whole pictures I was able to talk someone into snapping. I will, however, share what happened when we gave Captain Jack his presents.![]()
My husband went before the king and announced that he had some gifts for Captain Jack Sparrow. Captain Jack came forward, looking confused and wary.
Husband: My first gift for Captain Jack is a bottle of his own private rum! *brandishes the bottle of "rum" (really iced tea because the adorable boy is only 19)*
Captain Jack: *taking the bottle of rum and stumbling around in a circle with a joyous look on his face* Thank you! Thank you!
Husband: My second gift is a bottle of sand!....
Captain Jack: Dirt!
Husband: A bottle of dirt with a special heart in it! *brandishes the jar of dirt, with a tiny wooden heart in it with "Property of Davy Jones" written on it*
Captain Jack: *taking the jar of dirt and hugging it to his chest*I've got a jar of di-irt, I've got a jar of di-irt!
Husband: And the final gift is...*reaches into his cuff and pulls out the black spot* ...a black spot! See you! *places the black spot in Captain Jack's outstretched hand, turns and walks away quickly*
Captain Jack: *stares aghast for a couple of heartbeats* The black spot! *drops the black spot, spins around three times and spits, then he looks around in fear, picks up the black spot and runs away*
Anyway, I think he enjoyed the presents, and I was highly entertained. He's such a good Captain Jack that so far everyone has told him to apply at Disney, and I hear that one castmember is actively working to get him hired on. I don't know if he's going to college or what, but maybe we'll see him at Castaway Cay someday.
He won't remember me, but I'll brag about knowing him long long ago.

Blackunicorn said:Tae Ja--stick them in the Neolodge. They'll get fed there, and it's cheaper than buying food and less time consuming. Your pets don't care if you stick them in the most expensive hotel or the cheapest. I put them in cockroach towers, and put all of the neopoints my kids get into the bank and collect interest. You can put them in the Cockroach Towers for 140 neopoints for 28 days.
