Wish I had that problem. My DH works in a plant so he wears dockers and polos. Even dockers with slight freying at the bottom b/c he's in a transmission plant for a computer company. I just shake my head about the torn bottoms, but he says the plants so dirty any way. Yuck! Shhhh, jeans and tshirt for work attire, he'd be soo there!
Yes he is lucky. He only has one meeting a week so I am lucky too. He is at a warehouse and sits at the computer most of the day so no one sees him.

We went through all that too. I will tell you guys it is not worth it. The neighbor is a wacko. She even called child welfare on me. That was fun. Obviously they knew she called to get back at me. I think that is why I get so mad when they are so loud because I have built up resentment. They will get theirs. I think all the neighbors are getting sick of them.

You know, we spent all of our time there wondering how they could afford the house.....(we rented there for a year, could not afford to buy there) It was on a nice golf course in Winter Park. They were the shoeless/shirtless with unwashed children type, if you get my drift. After we moved, our former landlord informed us that the home had been her Dad's, and they had moved in to "take care of him" when he had a stroke. Didn't look like they were doing a very good job.

It stinks living next to people like that, I feel for you. Hopefully they'll get out of there soon!

My Mom keeps warning me that I won't be able to keep my house spotlessly clean anymore when we do have children. I'm in denial about that one. Dust and dog hair are the bane of my existance and it is my job to ERADICATE THEM from my house!

:furious:

Yeah, I know. :p

But even I don't iron - wrinkle releaser works wonders! :teeth:

Ok, and I have a question for you Teva fans out there.....I am looking at them on ebay right now and I'm not sure if I should go up or down a half-size. I wear a 6 1/2 - do I want a 6 or a 7?

I know people whose homes are showrooms...families with a bunch of kids, too. I don't know how they do it?! You have to be really disciplined. I used to be that way, but not any more. The thing is, I love it when it's all clean, I just can't get moving to get it done. It doesn't help when everyone sits around WATCHING me clean either. It'd be nice if they helped.

I would go up a size.

Wouldn't it be though.

I totally agree. My dad freaks when he comes b/c of what the kids have done. Minor stuff, but he complains all the time.

Thanks! Going to bid on this pair - so cute!

Wish me luck.

:shamrock: They're cute and the seller has a great rating! I'll have to check those out...another pair of course in a size 6 1/2. :teeth:

so how do these compare to crocs feeling wise?

what are teva's? are they like crocs? I saw croc flip flops.

Long-time maker of sandals and flip flops that are very high quality.....my husband had a pair for 5 years, and they only got retired because the dog ate the strap.

They have a green pair in the same size ;)

I've never tried crocs, so I can't compare. But they are supposed to be rather comfy. I just got DH a new pair on ebay and thought I would grab one for myself as well!

His are a little more masculine :teeth:

I hope so, unless he's into the pink trend. MY dh would die before he'd wear any pink shirt.

I'm trying to watch Bugs life. The kids scratched it up so I'm going to watch as much as I can. I love Bugs life. the line, the line, I can't see the line!

they remind me of the Bass flip flops, but cuter!

You can almost do any thing with a cup of coffee and two tylenol.

uh oh-tylenol has caffine, coffee has caffine. Am I going to start getting jitters?

VICKI- how are you feeling. you must be resting.

Those Teva's are adorable. When I think of Teva's, I usually think of the style that velcros over the toes, and around the ankles. I didn't realize they make a flip flop style. Very cute! I may have to look into those myself. I probably have 100 pairs of flip flops. I usually end up wearing the plain rubbery flips from Old Navy, I have them in a bunch of different colors.

Supposedly they are so comfortable people walk all day in the parks with them on. I bought a pair of Reefs and wore them all over Vegas but I don't know if I would do the parks in them. I am getting the Teva Mush for the trip.
