I am going to end up going with Arial instead of Comic because I'd like to make the phrase on the bracelet in all capital letters. I'll probably order an extra bracelet in each size....just in case someone loses or breaks theirs.

:thumbsup2 You are way better than me! Each person gets one. You lose you snooze. I am so mean! Reality is, I am way over budget :rotfl:

I hear you. The problem is, there are 10 of us in our group and I will be the one to break or lose mine. :rotfl: D'OH!

It is such a shame our dog hates the water:

She is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! I wish Luna could meet Ginger, I think they would get along well, although my pup only swims in lakes and rivers (it is usually so cold here that most people don't have pools) I think maybe Ginger could introduce her to the fun and excitement of pool life!

Its actually pretty funny to hear you guys talk about your swimming pools because the only people who have them around here are really really rich people who can afford to build indoor ones! We had little plastic ones or we would go down to the lake and swim or do slip 'n slide and sprinklers. Hey it was all fun, we didn't even know what we were "missing".

One of the things I am looking forward to most is getting to swim in a pool on a boat, crazy thought. I can't even imagine what it is going to be like! And then snorkeling.... ahhhh to be able to swim in water and not have to wear a wet suit! :Pinkbounc

Thanks for sharing your pictures, kids are cute...whether its the 2-legged or 4-legged variety! :thumbsup2

purplern, I love it!

we have had our "new" dog for almost 3 weeks now (I say "new" because he is a 2 year old rescue) and have learned that the squirt bottle is less of a deterrant because he loves water so much he will LIFT THE CLOSED TOILET LID to get a special drink.

we have to keep the bathroom doors closed.

yeah - so we squirt him when he is being naughty, and he looks at his wet fur and back at us as if to say BRING IT, HUMAN!

:rotfl2: Don't you just HATE that? Little turkey knows he's got you wrapped around his little paw :dogdance:

Its such a great thing that you got a rescue dog. Congrats on your new addition to the family :cheer2:

I saw this on another thread. These are the current movies on the Wonder:
Cars
Chicken Little
Eight Below
Chronicles of Narnia
The Shaggy Dog
The Wild
and Pirates of the Caribbean

Thanks, Bill. Does anyone know how often they switch out the movies? Is it likely that these will still be playing when we go? popcorn::

Darn, I wish they had "real" movie popcorn at the theaters, oh well it will just give me more room in my tummy for Mickey bars (I have heard so much hype about these that I can't wait to get to finally try one! :mickeybar )

Here are the latest prices for 2 adults in the different categories for our Sept 3 cruise (they do include ins & transfers):

cat 11 - $2001.90
cat 10 - $2221.90
cat 9 - $1861.90
cat 8 - $2041.90
cat 7 - $2161.90
cat 6 - $2161.90
cat 5 - $2261.90
cat 4 - $2501.90

cat's 11, 10, 9, and 6 are gty.
cat 10 was gty for weeks, then was not available for weeks, and is now gty again - what does it all mean? :confused3  :rotfl2:

Have you all been following the thread about the Crown Princess cruise ship tipping today? Absolutely frightening!

I saw this too. I feel so badly for those people and their families. I wish they would show something on the news, but nothing :confused3 They keep saying that a little girl is critically injured. I just pray she's ok. It's so hard not to think of how scared I know my 3 girls would be if this were to happen to them.

Yes. It is called Junkanoo Beach. It's nothing fancy but it's pretty clean and safe. We have went there everytime we go to Nassau, without any problems.
It is located right next to the British Colonial Hilton. This year we are going walk down the road a little farther than we normally do for a little change. Yoou can see the ships from the beach.

Here is a picture (link below. I do not know how to add pics to my post). The building with the Orange Roof is the Colonial Hilton.
If you look at the picture you will see something that looks like a retaining wall
sticking out into the water. This is where we usually go. We are going to walk down a bit. You can see the ships in the background. It is about a 15 minute walk.

Is it a public beach?
Any reasonable things to see with a mask and snorkel?
Did you ever do a snorkeling excursion in Nassau?

Three words:

space saver bags

:thumbsup2

Don't forget to make sure that they're Travel Space Bags. The regular ones need a vacuum cleaner, but the travel ones can be squeezed just by rolling the air out. We can't function without our space bags--at least, there's no way we could make it home without them! :rotfl: We actually bought a set of suitcases that can nestle inside each other so that we knew we'd have extra space.

I'm not contagious anymore! And I got to go to Target and buy clothes for the kids for the trip. I got a pair of shorts for my DD7 for $1.50--what a deal! I'm ecstatic! My husband, however, is having a panic attack about how much I spent... :rolleyes1

I never actually thought about space saver bags. Where can you buy the travel bags? Sounds interesting!

Target $10.00 the last time I bought a set of 3 or was it 4. I got the one with two large bags. These space bags you roll out the air by yourself. Think oversized ziploc bag for your clothes. I was skeptical at first, but they really work. I think I bought a set from Walmart, but they didn't hold up as well. Love the space bag! Shhh, my MIL she packs all her clothes in space bags, its an adventure trying to pick up her luggage. :rotfl2:

Dawn, I'm so glad your able to get out now! Shop, shop, shop, or click, click, click. ;)

In 2002 the friends we cruised with had the bags that needed a vacuum cleaner to get the air out. They borrowed the vacuum from our stateroom host to pack to leave the ship. :woohoo:

What is a link to the info about the Crown Princess tipping?
