.....They are both HUGE babies. It's so funny, because if someone were to come and look in my window they would NEVER try to break in. But I think all they would do is lick you to death, or roll over and demand that their bellies be rubbed.

What matters is the end result--if they scare intruders off by their looks then that is great.

We were so HOT today. It was 115 where I live. Also we had humidity. I think it is God's way of getting me ready for Florida. It is 10:40 here and it is still 99 outside. Thank God for AC and swimming pools.

I predict 5000 post.

We are the opposite. Yesterday was lower 80's today we arent even getting out of the 70's.

I loved the picture of Ginger's tail - that was really cute. It's fun gettin "accident" shots. Or I guess getting more in a picture than what I was aiming for.

Well I hope everything went all right gettin Logan to work. I have to work today too but hopefully if everyone does what they're supposed to do it will only be a half day.

We're gettin' 85-90 degree weather here and you would think it was 110, weather alerts, heat advisories, we just never get this hot so people are goin nuts.

Her little safety vest is great. So does she just sit on top of the kayak and then jump off to swim a bit and then climb back on when she needs a break, or does she sit inside sometimes too? How hard is it for her to get up?

I'm not really sure what Kayaks are like, I was kind of thinking they were form fitting around the kayaker so there wouldn't be anyroom for Ginger to squeeze in....

One of my co-workers has a chocolate lab who loves water and they usually go innertubing down the river and she will swim along, but then when she gets tired she climbs up and sits on their lap. (She brought a picture in and it is quite a site! ) Anyway they were looking in to getting a kayak and were trying to figure out how to include their little buddy in on the fun.

I thought I would do the martini tasting then I found out that what the 4 martini's are and I know I won't like two of them so I scratched that. I will find a way to taste the chocolate martini though hehehehehehe

Attire Question: Has everyone figured out what they are wearing each night at dinner? And yes Bill, this question includes you!

I take one dark blue suit, but usually just wear dockers and a nice shirt. Wife wears sun type/ black simple dresses. Nothing real fancy. I would call it business casual..

LOL Well, mine aren't terribly authentic. The ones on deadmentellnotales.com are basically wooden nickels that are black on one side, and say "The Black Spot" on the other. I bought wooden disks, colored one side black, and wrote "The Black Spot" on the other. Very copycat. But mine are hand-made. I think they look good, but you know how kids can be sometimes...I mean, I make costumes for the whole family and the kids always prefer store-bought. And I guess I haven't quite got enough to stress about so I'm finding things to be stressed about. Of course, I'm really really hoping the kids will think they're cute and not horrifyingly frightening because of the Robert Louis Stevenson connection...

I'm headed to the Disney Store tomorrow...show of hands, who is making their own shirts, and who bought them? We might just do the wristbands, but we need to know what peer pressure says.




Oh, by the way, one of my black spots is for the Renaissance Festival. We have a Jack Sparrow impersonator (he's not period, but he's very good and very entertaining) and on the last weekend, my husband will present him with three presents. He's going to get a jug of rum, a jar of sand with a little heart in it, and a black spot. I'm thinking I might take a video camera to catch this...

We all bought DIsney Shirts, and my wife purchased some blank shirts from the craft store, and my kids made their own with texture paint....

All this talk about menapause has me really scared. ..I can't imagine my wife going through this...It's amazing I made it through her (3) pregnancies..I would rather of had done it myself if it were possible......
