I am SO going.

OK, as a totally naive musical entity, I admit willingly that I have no idea what is going on. I even went to the website and am guessing that ABBA (who I do like) has reinvented themselves with a sense of humor and the same folks are now BJORN AGAIN. How close am I?

We rode our bikes on the Monon trail (former Rail Road bed through Indianapolis) and figure we probably did 16 miles yesterday. I have not been on my bike in over 12 years (more like 22 years probably). I am glad we got home when we did, my bottom is sore and it is hard to stand up as my knees are rusty, but I did it with no huffing and puffing. Nice accomplishment.

Tae Ja: How was the family reunion? How did the salad work out? Is anyone at your house living on Eastern Daylight time?

PS: I did put my own addition on the name box over the avatar. Tae Ja told me how to do it. Seems like only the Tag Fairy can get stuff in there in color, but at least I can put my own comments in.

These are my babies.....

Oscar is the dog from my avatar, looking at the camera. He is SharPei mixed with Boxer (wrinkles and jowls galore!), we've had him since he was 4 months old. Noggin is the white Staffie (Staffordshire Bull Terrier) who has only been with us for a few weeks but is already taking porch-guarding duty very seriously.

They are both HUGE babies. It's so funny, because if someone were to come and look in my window they would NEVER try to break in. But I think all they would do is lick you to death, or roll over and demand that their bellies be rubbed.

hahahahaha. So cute. I don't think ours will be white but Kevin is 99% sure that's what we are getting. Can you e-mail me these pics? He is dying to see your dog.

Jan, I believe Bjorn Again is a tribute (knockoff) band to ABBA. They look and sound like ABBA and they play their music. Congrats on the long bike ride, I'd be paralyzed after that!!! Sit on lots of pillows today!

Bill, GREAT JOB posting the pics! It's nice to see your family and put some faces to the gang! Did you catch anything that day? Hopefully our kids will make some new friends on our cruise!

Kerry, you can easlily copy the pictures (with permission of course) by right clicking over the image. It should give you an option to save them to your computer.

Yes. Everyone caught at least one fish (except me). Kurtis & Matthew had 2 or three each. No time for Dad to actually fish.... as I was busy baiting, taking off fish, untangling lines ....usual fishing stuff.. we had a great time..
If you have an extra day before the Cruise ,I would recommend this. You pay $18 (I think) and they give you bait and rod & reels....

Sounds like a great time, I will keep it in mind! This trip, we're spending our time at WDW prior to cruising but I'm SURE there will be a next time! I totally understand that you weren't able to fish, fishing is usually quite the calamity with my gang. Top it off with the fact that I don't do the baiting or taking off and it gets even funnier.

Are your sons into video games? Mine love them! Along with occasionally fishing, they're also into their airsoft and paintball stuff, as well as skimboarding.

Bjorn Again was fantastic, as always (my 4th time seeing them). They are a tribute band only, nothing like the REAL thing (who swore they would never reunite) but fun nonetheless. The talk with Swedish accents and do all of the dance moves. We might try to catch them one more time on this tour.

You have a very nice family. How old is your daughter? My oldest just turned 10 the other day and they look about the same age. If so maybe they can get to know each other on the cruise.

(May seem like a silly question but my parents stopped taking my brother and I a couple years ago... so I was curious. )

By the way, I've been really sick the past couple days. I've got horrible, horrible insomnia (have since I was 9yrs old ) and it gets worse pretty random.. Before last night, I hadn't slept in over two days and Michael called to tell me that if I died he was digging up my coffin and bringing my corpse along because he didn't want to be alone...
So.. if you smell anything when I'm around...

Victoria and Matthew are twins (9) almost 10

Everyone is going except my 19yr old...Paying for his college & phone & many other expenses is in lieu of his presence..

This is the first year we did not take him.....I feel guilty now and again..but I get over it quickly when I am taking out the trash and doing things that teen's are supposed to do but don't (but we still expect them to do)...a vicious circle

I copied them. I then e-mailed the DBF who is actually "giddy". I think more so because he has worn me down and we actually have agreed on a dog type.

I took this on-line test for what kind of dog would be good for you (well, actually about 8 of them) The Straffordshire Bull Terrier was the only breed to finish in the top three each time. Scary!
