Tom wanted poker chips made but this is cheaper and practical. I don't want to give someone something that they'll take home, throw in a box and throw away in 5 years because it's useless.

how about poker chip shaped magnets? I dunno, I've been up too long today. Cute design P re-thinking- the text would be pretty small unless you made texas sized chips.

Is there any way to put a photo of the two of you melded in with the picture so guests of the guests can see the bride and groom?

You're creative, I know you 'll figure it all out P

Good luck as well on financing and working on getting a mortage. you are doing the right thing by getting financing first and then the house.

Patsy...you sure you want to make DC your first choice?? I think I just say that cause its my backyard and I've been *lucky* enough to see the...bad parts. It is a nice place in April though, with the cherry blossoms and all. If you need any suggestions on what to see or do while you're there, just let me know!

Yea This is all messed up!!! YES I reported him!!!!!!!! They are investigating. We got an email from the Vice pres-basically it said please dont do this! Mean time it's a huge HIPAA violation-One according to policy can be reason for termination!

We are all ok!! Havent heard anything yet but they told the next person they interviewed it maybe a llow because both Hr departments were working on a plan. We have a meeting with our HR department to fill out questionaries and we are suppose to know definately by the end of Oct where we will be working next year but it sounds to me like we arent going to make it till next year!

Mercy hospital has 16 ER RN positions-which is about how many are at Southside now. Wouldnt it make sense to fill those psoitions with all of us! Which is what i said in our first HR meeting and I bet that is why we are having this meeting this week.

Where do things stand now?

I have house centipedes. They're scary.

Are they little? About 1/2 inch or less? tan?

if so, they are water bugs and HARMLESS. Just smack them when you see them with a tissue.

We found out where they are going to put all the head injury patients when that part of the unit gets remodeled.

The next few months are going to be very interesting, to say the least

Good morning!! What a horrible weekend! I worked Fri SAt And Sun and we fought with the supervisor because we found out the floors are reading all our patients charts!!! Can you say HIPAA violation!!!!! The to top it off when we went after our MVA the med surg secretary read ALL of our CHARTS!!!!!!!!!! I am furious!!!!!! Sunday he came out to "smoke" while I was out there and my friend-our unit secretary immediately said Let's go back inside! She wouldnt let me say anything!

WHO? is reading WHAT? and HOW? did they get them?
If these are not the charts of patients admitted to their floors, then HOW are they reading them anyway? How are they getting access?

Doesn't sound good!

I'm also with you on the poker chips. Use them for decorations if you want but not to give away, just to keep for your own parties.

Well, yes and no. There IS room, it's just hard when you are used to having extra space and suddenly there are people there instead! lol.

They have made the move and have been with us for a week. The good? Well, we have mixed up all the teams so we are all treating BOTH the brain injury patients and the rest (spinal cord, orthopedic, etc) so we get lots of different experiences AND get to work with some new nurses and therapist and get to know them better. The bad? Well, as we all know some people are not fond of changes and some of the staff have been a little stressed and irritable. But it will pass.

Just imagine how roomy our unit will feel again after three months of this, when they all go back to their newly remodeled side of the hall!

The people on the floor are reading them in the computer. It isnt good! According to policy they can be fired!!! We fought about this all weekend. Tuesdya is when the **** really hit the fan. I went to a meeting with HR about them reading my chart and they said the investagation is still going on.

He looks like such a happy baby. I'm glad he's doing so well. Babies are resiliant and truly with doctors and God, all things are possible.

Hey all, I started a thread on the Techie forum asking for a homeschool/school forum be started, please post your name if you feel led. We are parents who love Disney and have kids who are in school too. Thanks http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=26319298&posted=1#post26319298 Its a homeschool forum request, but I think it goes beyond that.
