Disney Wonder Sept 3-7,2006 Part 2

New car, new washer and dryer, new husband, new major.

Didn't make sense to take a week and go to Disney World. He won't go during school and thinks we should wait until we have kids..

What, is he crazy? Without kids, you can do what YOU want WHEN you want. I just got back from DL, and I'm exhausted from keeping the kids happy! I'm actually fantasizing about going without them. They wouldn't even let us cuddle on POTC!

*sigh* thought so. It did/ does feel tender from the stress of the cart . Early daycare retirement might be coming soon unless they can shuffle me some where else.

I would think they'd understand, and they certainly can't force you to do something that would harm you.

Well, he's agreed on a Disney cruise. We're going to do one of the inaugral (sp?) of the new ships, I hope!

We're doing Hawaii as our unofficial honeymoon, next March. He'll still be "in" the Marine Corps., so we can use base lodging for lots, lots cheaper. We were initially going to do Europe over spring break but decided we'd like to go to Europe for graduation and maybe stay for a whole month, instead of just a week.

So it's not like he's not letting me travel..

Thanks guys! Heidi- our room had a Karate Kid theme! We had Karate Kid props, too. Just like the Planet Hollywood restaurants do!

Peej! My brother and I got her when I was in 9th grade but when I adopted Reese my junior year of high school, my dad took all rights to Peej away and kept her. She lives with them but they're going on vacation next week so Peej is coming to stay with me, so I though I'd stick her in my signature! I like kitties a little..

Yay! We'll have to try to go on the same boat! I'll be old enough to drink this time around! How crazy overpriced do you think it's going to be?

We'll definitely be on one too. He's been awarded disability by the VA for health issues from his three deployments and so they're going to *eventually* give him a crapton of backpay and he's like "Awesome, I can quit working for the VA and finish my degree off of the disability!"
I told him NOPE! Thats going into a disney cruise fund/downpayment for a house fund!


Lisa.. I bet so. Be careful, though, if they are family! Peej is seriously overweight!!! She eats and eats and eats and my dad just keeps feeding her!

Erica, did you hear whether or not they're going to be based out of Port Canaveral? That is what Wikipedia says but I don't know how reliable it is! I hope so... !

Eek! Worse than that, I don't know if anyone would even notice to rescue her! Thats MY sink in my bathroom and since I don't live there anymore but she still sleeps there... I don't know how often my parents go in there so I don't know if they'd ever find her!

On a side note, my kitchen smells delicious. I just made pizza (from scratch-- fresh dough, fresh tomatos YUMMY!), pepperoni rolls for the hubby's lunch tomorrow and brownies.

I go back to work tomorrow. I plan on doing light duty work, better yet, hiding out in the director's office working on charts. I told my boss, I'll work with the school agers if I have to . I 'm not fond of working with schoolagers they're soo, so, prehormonal

Noo. I just want at least ONE of them on this coast! I don't want to fly cross-country just to cruise. Even though I know you do and appreciate your patronage of our coast!

"Ships 3 and 4

Disney Cruise Lines announced on February 22, 2007 that 2 new ships are to be added to its fleet in 2011 and 2012.[2] The ships are to be built by Meyer Werft shipyard, based in Papenburg, Germany. These newest 122,000 ton ships will be 2 decks taller than the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder and will have 1,250 staterooms each. The ships have not yet been named. Disney Cruise Line has negotiated with the Port Canaveral port authority and has extended their contract for 15 more years, through 2022 at least. As part of this contract the port authority will expand and upgrade the dock in order to accommodate the new ships (both of which will be home-ported there) and the terminal will be enlarged to accommodate more passengers and luggage and finally a parking garage will be built and completed by 2011."

I wonder where they'll go? Tom and I are going to sit down this weekend and actively plot out all the finances and such (including a savings account to go on one of these durn cruises!) so I'm excited and positive we'll make it. I hope we're not alone, though.. Erica?!
