Disney Wonder Sept 3-7,2006 Part 2

That is so cute!!!:goodvibes
My sisters and I are all fighting for the same father-daughter dance song!:rotfl: I guess I should try looking for a new one?:confused3

But I think everyone else should have to find a new one...I'm my daddy's favorite!:p :lmao: :rotfl2:

If you all use the same song that would be so SPECIAL!! A FAMILY TRADITION and something your Dad will NEVER forget! :cool1:
.

.....ARE any of you on FAcebook by chance? IF so, PM me :goodvibes

The fact he wanted to be committed is a good sign! He doesnt have to be committed to get help, have him talk to someone! It cant hurt! The VA should be able to help. Maybe if he talks to someone NOW! It can help him when the baby is born so he doesnt turn out like his Dad.

And if you talk to them too you can find out when he starts getting like that what you should do. Does he need a medication then or all the time, how to help him calm down, stuff like that.

It doesn't help all youhave to look forward to is finals either.

No...not at all.:rotfl2: AND I have this lab practical for my fish biology class where I have to know around 56 or so species of fish...what they look like, they're common name, they're family, genus, and species! Ahhh!!! I had one before where I had to know 73 and I got 106.58% with bonus points...but I am quite scared about this one. I have not gotten any done yet! AND all of the names are scary and longer this time. Also the fishes are starting to look more similar!
I meant to get some done while I was home but you know...breaks seem to never last do they...:confused3

I told him we're investing in a tranquilizer gun because thats the only way I'll be able to stop him.
DH can keep me from moving with like .05% effort. Big hunk of Marine. Geesh. :rotfl2:

No. They don't.

I hoped to get caught up this week and finish one of my classes completely, before things started back up. I think I have two weeks left of the semester.

However.. I did grow a baby this week. Thats a good excuse right? :flower3:

...and yeah, that's FAR too many fish!

Did I mention that it was Tuesday? As in...two days left...:guilty:
This semester has just been hectic and I was burnt a week or two before Thanksgiving I needed a rest...

Tuesday is my day off of work. I plan to have a mass trip to the library to finish my speech, blow out my history class and read all the stories from my English class!! :rotfl:

Okay. If I don't do it all Tuesday, I won't get it done. Here is my todo list (Notice, I've wasted hours on the internet today instead of doing ANY of these!)
  • Finish All Homework/Assignments/ Tests/Finals
  • Work 40 hours between M and W-Sat. (No idea on next week)
  • Clean the house and flea treat!
  • Both animals need baths (flea)
  • Finish Christmas shopping/wrapping
  • Complete the requirement of the VA Inspector so we can close on our house (and we don't even have the report yet!)
  • Hunt down about 6 bank statements for the mortgage company
  • Find clothes that fit... (Harder than one would think!)
  • Shop for clothes to fill in gaps for cruise

I leave for my cruise December 13th and it's all gotta be done by the 12th!!

We took tonight to watch Christmas movies, and as soon as the one on Hallmark ends we're hitting the hay.
We did go to Lowes today and get some stuff for the VA Inspection that we knew we'd need (some GFCI's, some arc breakers, hand rails, nails, etc) and I worked. That was strenuous enough for a Saturday, I think. :lmao:

Tomorrow I plan to evaluate my class situation and blow the one out of the water. I've only got about an hour left of work to do. Only three more classes after that one. :headache:

Whose idea was THAT!?:crazy2: And asbestos?? That sounds gross and scary...:scared:

In news of my own...
My whole family (parents, 3 sisters, plus the niece) is headed to Disney World :earsboy: tomorrow and i am sadly not going.:guilty: What happened was they decided they wanted to go to the Christmas party and that they REALLLYYY wanted to take Kayla, my niece. So my mom asked me to find out when my exams were. I'm done the 9th of December, which is Tuesday after next week. So my mom said they would probably go down the weekend before and I would join them when I was finished.
Sadly...no room.:sad2: :guilty: Now I can't remember if that was just DVC or including other hotels we would want to stay at or what. But the week before (which my first final is on FRIDAY!:scared1: ) there was availability. Not wanting to be the one who ruined peoples hopes...I told my mom to just go ahead and go without me. But they have an early flight tomorrow morning and I won't get to see them before I leave for NC.:guilty:
And I have been feeling sick, with a sore throat. I'm worried Thanksgiving travelers might create a lot of traffic!!:scared: I don't know what I'm going to do if it's real bad!

So Sorry!! About the timing of the trip.

Hope you feel better soon ::yes::
.

It's an older house where a little old lady lived that didn't know better. Why would it be gross?
The asbestos tile *supposedly* isn't harmful to use as a floor. BUT! We want to get rid of the hot pink bathtub and it's a cast iron tub which means... only a sledgehammer will remove the thing. Which means we'll more than likely be cracking tiles. Which means.... we should just go ahead and buy the nice suits and wet the tile and pull it up and dispose of it and put new tile down. That uh, isn't asbestos.:headache:

A corner needs to be re-sealed anyway and I think Tom just wants to rip up the floor and put down new with extra support.

Very wise ::yes::

Can anyone here teach me how to post a scrolling marquee in my signature? I found the tip on the tech thread but I can't seem to get it to work. :confused3

This is what they have posted:
To have your text scroll across the page
<marquee>The DIS is the best!</marquee>
<marquee>The DIS is the best!</marquee>

but I guess I need to replace something in there to actually make it work. I am baffled.

Sorry Lisa.. I had enough trouble getting this baby ticker to work. Did half the time, then it wouldn't. I am not Tech savvy..

HOWEVER! I love the Cullen crest in your signature!!

Thanks. I had a huge set of issues resizing that, too! I don't know if it's Vista or what the heck the problem was, but I'd resize it, add it, and it'd be HUGE. Finally went through my camera's software to reduce the size manually. It's been an afternoon of tech frustration for me. :confused3 :rotfl:

Indianapolis electrical workers union volunteers string ropes of garland and lights on the monument in the center of the city.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving there is a big tree lighting party with a stage set up, singers, sometimes performances from Dance Schools in the area. Santa comes and he lights the tree with the help of a child who has won the privilege from a coloring contest by turning a big key and the other big key was turned by the Mayor and his family.

We went one year and FROZE so this year we watched it on TV while Tom put together shelving units to install in our closets.

So it took me 9 hours to make a 6 hour drive back to school...:scared1:
I sat in CRAZY traffic getting onto 95... I really have no words for how horrendous traffic was. I knew it but I felt like my parents were saying it shouldn't be TOO bad. Thank goodness that was my last Thanksgiving in school!
