Ok,

Here are the color options (Black, Green, Blue - same as April), all have our dates.

To order the shirts there needs to be at least 50 shirts per color and 10 per size. After that shirt number has been reached Fabric can be ordered (minimum of 5 yards $15/yd).

Shirts are ~$42 for 100 shirts. Order over 100, and the price falls to ~$30/shirt (prices are on my desk at work, hence the guesses).

I volunteered somewhere (I think) to head up lanyards. Oh, yes, we even starting looking at name tag ideas a month or so ago. Will definitely looking for partners in crime for this project. I am a name tag making fiend - I love that job! I bought a good laminator last year for that purpose and find it very therapeutic - for what, I don't know, but it puts me in a good mood.

I'm planning on arriving in CA by Friday afternoon Oct 12 to do Halloween at Disneyland. Saturday is LA stuff (probably visit my niece who is in school). Some of us are looking at getting transportation together to save $ and not be at the mercy of DCL's bus schedule. We will probably be coming from Anaheim, though, whereas you will be RIGHT there.

Currently, we have the last Pacific Coast cruise booked but we may move that one and do DL instead. We did MNSSHP at WDW and it was great fun!

If interested let me know Qty and I will add you to the list. I start another more specific spreadsheet in a few, where I will break out color, size, etc.


As for colors, I think the Black is more formal (and could be hot), the green more Hawaiian/Tropical, the blue is more casual and goes with more options (but then blue is my favorite color). Holly would extremely happy is all three colors were bought (min 50 shirts each) so, she can get all three fabric colors.

Curious, why not black?

Since we are driving down from SF, bring the shirts with us is no big deal, just another box in the car. We plan on staying at the Crown Plaza (LA Harbor Hotel) at the port the night before and then parking at the port the next morning. Since we have just turned Platinum we should be able to get on board early and meet anyone who comes on.

Or meet the night before at the Hotel for a pre-cruise meet/drink.

Looking through the thread, I liked this tag the best and would look great with the green shirts..

That one had the most positive responses to my suggestions to date.

I am always open to ideas - anyone with graphics skills is definitely encouraged to make suggestions. Otherwise, this one will be easy to personalize and print.

I off to Orlando tomorrow for an afternoon/night at WDW and then on the Dream Sunday for a 3-night pre-Thanksgiving cruise with my 2 youngest nieces (15 and 18). We are excited, as we are doing concierge - and it's my 10th cruise.

Enjoy your cruise.. I know we did but, 3days is too short for us (definitely, looking forward to our 7day Fantasy MV and this 14day Hawaiian for sure).

You'll have to let us know how Concierge is compared to us lower deck'ers.

The good thing is that this 3day cruise will make you "PLATINUM"

I envie you all in the States. I would that I could book a 3 or 4 days cruise with DCL. Now I have to wait for this cruise till I be on the ship again.
And even when the Magic was in Europe there were only 7 or 11 day cruises and the were much more expencive.

Here is a good question for previous cruisers. What do you do with your old lanyards. Would love to hear some creative ideas.

I know Holly is going to quilt a vest out of the DCL lanyards, she has a pattern that use strips and will substitute the strips with the Silver/Gold/Platinum lanyards.

Right now I'm not sure if we will visit DL before or not - definately not after- I'm sure since we dock on Sunday DH will want to get home to work on monday.
