Disney Wonder - October 14, 2012 - Hawaii

Right now I'm not sure if we will visit DL before or not - definately not after- I'm sure since we dock on Sunday DH will want to get home to work on monday.

Right now another Disney Fan website I'm a member of is contemplating a meet the weekend before.

We are coming from the Netherlands and never been to DL. So this is the opportunity to do it. Our planning is to fly to LA on sunday oct 7. So we have a whole week in DL en LA. But that are only the plans for so far nothing realy booked or so.

There is a the "LA Harbor Hotel". It is a Crown Plaza hotel which is part of the Holiday Inn group. We are staying there the night before since we can use our Priority Club points. They have a shuttle to the port. But you need a taxi ($65) from LAX airport (according to their website).

We are driving so have no need of an airport or port shuttle.

Just booked our flight from Mexico City to LAX for the Wonder's Hawai'i cruise in October 2012. Too far out to book the return flight (we're staying at the Grand Californian Villas for a few days upon our return), but we'll pick those up when the dates are available!

Really?? Negative comments?? How so??

The Wonder is so much nicer than the Dream.. ( my opinion) But the Wonder won't have moving pictures, mini golf, aquaduck, fake portholes, giant sized dining rooms.. but has so much more "heart"...

Some have told me that I was crazy for wanting to be out at sea for 4 days, sea days are boring to others I guess. Then also we booked a verandah room and people say it is a waste of money, but having a toddler we do spend more time then most in our room, so while baby sleeps we get to enjoy our verandah........and of course no casino on DCL, what is there for adults to do?! I just say plenty LOL

Hi fellow DIS cruisers!

My mother just invited me to be her companion on this cruise. We went on the Wonder's Jan '11 Panama Canal Repo cruise and had a ball together. I recognize a few DIS names from that voyage, hello Cruisin Lexi and Bookwood!

I sent a PM to the person keeping the FE list. I would also like to order and/or assist with Lanyards. I really enjoyed having the lanyard and name tag on the Panama trip. I have to read a little more of the back pages regarding the shirts to know what the deal is with them.


My husband, daughter (8) and I are currently counting down to our NY cruise on the MAGIC. DD is bouncing off the walls with excitement and has already made her packing list. Anyone on the list joining us on the NY trip?

Hi everyone!

I'm finally getting time to get a bit of Christmas decorating done! Our church opens for a Christmas in the Village (craft, bake sale , and we serve homemade soups and stuff for meals on friday night and saturday noon.) So for the last few weeks everything I've done is for Christmas in the Village so it's great to have it over. I quilted 2 tree skirts and some tote bags, made fudge, and a roaster full of soup so I'm really glad I can start concentrating on the house and finishing shopping now!
I will take some time now thought to check out the excursions in detail!!!

One of my most favourite things about Christmas is attending all the craft and bake sales......I am not crafty and don't like to bake so I really appreciate the efforts of those work so hard on the bazaars.

I have been MIA for a while. My FIL passed away and life has been hetic to say the least!

BUT I do have good news we are booked at the Grand Californian Villas the Friday and Saturday nights before our cruise sets sail. I am hopping for a MNSSHP on Friday night!!!
