I asked hubs about the wine/chocolate tasting and he didn't seem interested (the other group for our cruise is organizing one)
But then we watched the Food Network Disney Cruise line special and he seemed a tad interested. I might be up for a shuffle board tourny. I am super competitive so that might be fun... and a toddler play date might be fun too! :) I might do the cabin crawl depending on when it is and how long it takes.
I will add your votes in.
The last cabin crawl I went on took between a 1/2 an hour to an hour. That was doing the poker w/ it, and having our group of 25 get separated because that many people could not fit on 1 elevator. We figured it out after the first cabin, and got back on track.
As for scheduling, if we decided to do this, it would most likely be on a sea day, and we would try to match everyone's schedule, the best we can.

A toddler play date would be fun too! Solaryss, what's your name on the other group? I'm Maureen! :)

I added the toddler play date vote!

Just received the following update for booking future cruises while on board!

:dogdance::boat::sail::cool1:
Disney Cruise Line Announces New Placeholder Booking Policy
Disney Cruise Line guests booking their next cruise onboard now have the option to book a "Placeholder" reservation that allows them to take advantage of the onboard booking perks, without having to choose a specific sailing. A deposit of $200 per person will allow guests to book this "placeholder" option. Guests still have 24 months from the time of booking to travel using the placeholder reservation.

Happy Easter (early) to you Too! :rose:

Just don't eat to much candy :tongue:

Faye, I have a question for you, and a favor to ask.
The question is, what are your 2 most favorite colors?
The favor is, the spelling of the girls names (again, I know... my memory is going to get me in so much trouble). I did not write it down (which I should have), and I don't want to mess it up. I am pretty sure this is how you spell Alayna. And I think Jeff's alteration of the Jello song was Jolie (but I am really worried that I have this one wrong).
Thanks

I was reading posts about my cabin on another thread, and came across this tidbit of information.

At the very back of the ship on Deck 7, in the very middle, between the balcony of room 7638 (which is the one I have reserved for June!) and the balcony of room 7138, is an open deck area with lounge chairs, that the public can use to sun, read, whatever. Often times, the staff from the kids' clubs will take the little ones out there and read a story to them.

People call it "secret" because the hallway is rather private, the door isn't well marked, and it isn't "advertised" on the deck plans. Thanks to these Boards, it isn't much of a secret any more.
Sometimes, DIS meet groups will have parties out there and often times at night, the teens are out there.
It is also a "smoking area"....but the wind will generally blow the smoke backward, so it shouldn't be a problem for the two connecting balcony rooms.

If it is later at night and there are people out there being noisy, you can call Guest Services or Security (if necessary) and they will be asked to leave.

The discussion thread was about the wonder, so I am assuming that she is referring to the Wonder (however, if she is referring to the Magic, the boat layout should be the same). If this public veranda does exist, I think this would be a great place to have a meet and mingle.

Hi there! We will also be on this cruise, and I think I recognize some of you from the Facebook page about it. We have also dragged my sister's family and a friend's family, and they each have dragged a few more cabins along. I think all together we are responsible for 8 or so cabins. :)

Welcome to the group OrcaPorkka.
:welcome::welcome::welcome:

Traveling with friends and family is a great deal of fun. :jumping1::grouphug:

I know I am looking forward to the time we will get to spend with friends and family.
I will add you to the group list.
Are y' all wanting to take part in the FE? The groups are set at 10 cabins, with the opportunity to join more than 1 group if you want. Also , we have a poll going to help decide on any group activities the group may want to take part in. I will repost the latest numbers just after this one. Please let me know if you are interested in any of them.

I have some good news for everyone who does not think they can unplug on vacation :badpc: or :surfweb:

While searching for free wifi in Key West so that school projects can be submitted on time (I know, boo hiss) , I came across a totally free wifi server that looks as though its coverage will reach the boat (based on their coverage map).:thumbsup2

Here is the link to the site for Waterway Wireless https://www.waterwaywireless.com/wi-fi-coverage
