Hi Betsy, welcome back to the discussion.
I was the one trying to reach out to you. I was asking for your favorite color for a special FE that I am making for the adult females in each cabin.
I had also posted on the thread earlier to let everyone who has less than 10 posts know that their messaging abilities will remain locked until they make their 10th post. You can quickly get there by replying to a few posts or asking a few questions. When you post your favorite color, you will be at 4. You will only need 6 more after that.

I just found this board. We are going on the cruise from Galveston right after Thanksgiving. This is the right group? We have two girls 7 and 2 and would like to participate in the FE.

We are glad you found us.
And to answer your question, Yes, we are the group for the Disney Wonder sailing out of Galveston on Black Friday of 2015 (Also known as Nov. 27, 2015 ).
I will add you to our Roll Call and to the FE list. I am going to need to get a little bit of information to add to the FE spreadsheet, but will have to wait until you reach 10 posts to be able to send the FE questions to you via private message.
There is some helpful tips on how to reach 10 quickly in posts #57 and #69 (My suggestion is to read both before using the information in the posts).
When you reach 10, you can either post here to let me know you are ready for the FE sign up or you can send a message to me. All you need is my screen name ~ pixiehallow.
I look forward to getting to know you and share in planning with you.

Ok great thank you! I saw that people are interested in a toddler playtime. My little one will be two in July so 2 when we travel. This is our 2nd cruise. We went about 3 years ago and loved it!

We just booked (and paid in full to receive a $28 discount per room ) our pre cruise hotel. I am so excited!


We will be staying at the Harbor House. Which means I will have a good reason to be up at 5 AM (aside from first day excitement ).
I will get to watch the ship pull into port. Then after everyone else gets up, and we have breakfast, it is just a short walk to the cruise terminal.
YEAH!!!
Oh yeah, that means we decided to move our Thanksgiving to Sunday, and bring leftovers with for a Thursday Thanksgiving meal (sandwiches and pie. ...yum)

This is our 6th with Disney. We are just SLIGHTLY addicted! With this cruise, we will have officially been on all 4 ships.

I have done a great deal of searching. What it came down to for us was what was important to us. We chose being able to see the boat in port first thing in the morning. Other perks were the parking at their sister property and the shuttle back and forth to the boat (at least for DH, the rest of us are walking over ) were included in the $10 parking fee, breakfast, and large rooms. If you are considering them, the best price can currently be found on galveston's website.
As for other properties, what are important aspects that you are looking for? I will be happy to share what I learned.

I've just booked this cruise for my hubby and I. We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary on Dec. 2nd. This will be our 2nd cruise. Our first was on the Fantasy for the Eastern Carribean spring break 2014. The kids are less than excited we are leaving them behind this time! Can't wait!!

Hubby and I took our first cruise without the boys in January. It was hard to leave, and the boys were less than excited, but we had a great time.

I hope everyone here in Texas is safe and dry after this past weekend.
We delivered a truckfull of items to San Marcos this week for my youngest sons outreach ministry. And hope to have more items by this weekend.
