Howdy.....I've been watching too for the FE group. First timer here...but maybe we should start our own group for the ones that didn't get in on the original one? we can figure it out :). We (me/hubby/son 8yr) can't wait!

That sounds good to me. This is our first cruise anywhere ever, so I have no idea what to do.....I did order a fish extender yesterday. I've been looking on line for cute little gifts to give...but not even sure how many to buy as I am not sure who we are "playing" with yet...or how many ...

Hi Veronica!! We are excited about the cruise too!! This is our very first cruise as well.

This is my families first Disney Cruise and we would love to be part of a FE group! We are on the Wonder ship leaving Nov. 20. Family of 5! Please help us sign up :)

I believe our Formal night will be on night 2. Our travel agent sent us the following nightly dress schedule:

night 1 casual

night 2 formal

night 3 casual

night 4 pirate

night 5 semi formal

night 6 casual

night 7 dress up - Thanksgiving

She also sent me the following general information about our cruise, hopefully it is useful or informative!

Thanksgiving Day

A Thanksgiving feast will be served. Mickey and Minnie will be meeting and greeting guests while dressed in traditional Thanksgiving garb. Kids will enjoy holiday crafts and the jumbo LED screen Funnel Vision will feature the NFL football games being broadcast that day.

Very Merrytime Cruises
  • NEW! "Mickey's Tree-Lighting Magic" in the atrium on the first night of each cruise. A child will assist the Disney characters as the three-deck-tall tree is lit.
  • NEW! Santa's Winter Wonderland Ball - Wear your holiday finest and come to the ball with your Disney friends and the princesses. There will be singing, dancing, treats and a snowman will transform into Santa Claus! Magical snow will fall in the atrium.
  • NEW! Holiday carolers - Dickens-inspired characters and carolers will sing holiday classics. Disney friends may even join in.

  • Holiday storytellers sharing tales of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. There's even a story written just for guests of Disney Cruise Line about the magical feeling of the holidays on a ship.
  • Holiday caroling by international crew members
  • Disney Cruise Line holiday merchandise
  • Sunset Hanukkah services every day 12/8-12/16, Christmas services, including midnight Mass on Christmas Eve.
  • Traditional Christmas dinner in the dining rooms
  • On Christmas morning, Santa Claus and his elves will be at the Christmas tree in the atrium with surprises for the kids, along with cookies and milk.
  • Holiday edition of "Till We Meet Again" on the last evening of the cruise.

Hello, My name is Paula and our family is cruising with Disney for the first time. My husband just retired from the USMC and we are a family of four. Myself and my husband Marcus, with our two children John-Paul age 6 and Cy'Anne age 15. I would love to know whatever a newbie should know to make this a memorable experience for my kids. Also I would love more info about the Fish Extender program.
