Disney Wonder Mexican Riviera - December 4th 2011

Just checked our reservation and we are in stateroom 2028. We were a GTY so everyone that has a GTY should have their staterooms now. Yay!!!

Got ours too! I was hoping the slowness of the website meant there would be updates! Question - is there more 'motion' if you are near the front or back of the boat?

*** edited - forgot to add we are currently in room 8002 ***

We just got our room assigned. #6534. We reserved a 5C GTY (under the KSF offer) and got a 5C.

Hello All

I am doing my last (hopefully) crafts shopping trip today, I just want to be sure that the FE list is closed and the total of 23 rooms is the final tally. I will make extras but would like to avoid having to go back.

So so sorry to just now close the FE. I added one room today that was sent to mebefore the deadline, but i did not get the message until tonight. I was at a coaching clinic all weekend, so i did not have a chance to log on. I am so sorry for the last minute addition!

Okay...i am back! So sorry that i have not bern pn in a while! I had a coaching clinic all weekend, so i never had a chance to log in! The FE is now closed! We have a total of 24 rooms and 24 families. I added the number of families as well because some families have more than one room, and some rooms have mpre than one family.

We got our disneyland info packet in the mail today!! I am super excited to meet everyone!

Hi All!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am not very far from Disneyland and if you need anything let me know. Is anyone planning on meeting at Disney before the cruise? We might go to Downtown Disney on the Friday night before the cruise for some last minute shopping. We have a family day/holiday party at DH's unit on Saturday the 3rd.

I looked for some FE gifts today but didn't find anything. I know what I am going to do for the girls but have no clue for the boys. That is the problem with having 2 girls!

Hope everyone has a great week!

HOORAY!!! We got our room assignment....we are in 6066. Not sure about the other two rooms with us yet.

It will be cool to see where we are all located on the ship. There is NOT a bad cabin on the ship, they are all great!

Wow, it's been a long day!
But I remembered someone mentioning we might get our room assignments today. I'm so glad I decided to check before turning off the lights. We booked 2 rooms for our family of 8. We booked a 5B for the girls and my husband and I, and a 9A for the 4 boys, hoping we'd end up on the same deck, potentially we could both be on decks 6 or 7. But now I see that our assigned room is #8554.
That is an upgrade to Cat. 4A!:woohoo: Pixie Dust Alert! :wizard:
Now I'm too excited to sleep! I was surprised to see that the boys room was left at 9A, they are room #5016. I'm sure Disney has a method to their madness, but I sure can't figure it out. I thought for sure we would stay in 5B and that perhaps they would get upgraded. I hope the pixie dust continues for everyone! :wizard:

Well now that it's almost 2am......I'm going to turn off the lights and try to get some sleep.

How do you know your room is a cat 4a?

Also, in case you were wondering
46 days until we sail

Got our room assignments today. No upgrades but the rooms are right next to each other which makes me very very happy. I was worried that we would be on alternate ends on different floors. :cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

Rooms 6137 and 6139

Hi Judy!

Just saw that your hotel is in Los Al/Cypress. When are you guys getting into town? We live in Cypress. Let me know if you need anything.

Hi,
It looks like someone else posted a link, in answer to your question.
I used my Passporters Disney Cruise Line book which has a chart and a deck plan showing each stateroom with the cat. number.

When Disney does the upgrade, your reservation will still show the same category. Ours still says Cat. 5B, but you have to check your stateroom number to verify your actual category. Ours says Cat. 5B, stateroom # 8554. The "8" was my first clue becuase that indicates deck 8, and I know that only cat. 4 and suite rooms are on that deck.

Good Luck!

Our info looks good. Thank you again for being the organizer. We appreciate it.

For roll call, we are main seating and staying at Doubletree San Pedro.

Hi,

Thanks to a friend crusiing the month prior to us I just found out about this board.

While my husband and I have gone on a few cruises. This is the first time we are going on DCL and we are very excited. Our kids will be 4 in February and are madly in love with all things Disney.

These boards are enormous and I've spent hours browsing and making notes on must do's and tips. Any input or insights to make the most of this trip would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sarah,

I just checked our info, stateroom numbers, and they are correct.

While reading the Nov. 27th thread, to see when they got their room assignments, I saw they are having something called a "Cabin Crawl" do you know what that is? I didn't see anything explaining what that was.

Thanks for your time and efforts,

Hi, Shanna,

A cabin crawl is where you view a cabin in each category. You start at deck one and end at deck eight. You have volunteers for each category and they usually have a treat in their room. Its an opportunity to visit and see the different categories.

Hope this helped.
