I was promised it was mailed yesterday (finally) & would be with me today - it's not - my mail arrived already

I ordered it well over a month ago & enquired before hand if it wad too late to order to get it by last week

I think my pirate costume is coming together pretty well, especially for just digging around in my closets!

Yes, well it will *probably* arrive tomorrow then. I am not sure what method she used to mail it, but supposedly (crossing my fingers, hoping, hoping) mine was mailed Tuesday and should arrive today. I am hoping for both of us that they will arrive soon.

Just a word of advice - the magnet paper doesnt run thru my printer, so I had to buy letter size labels & print onto that then stick that onto the magnet paper

I just printed the pictures in color..laminated them and put cut magnet pieces on the back...turned out SUPER cute!!!

As far as the FE..she said she mailed it to me on Saturday (which she did) and I got it on Tuesday (like she indicated I would) so I am SO hopeful yours gets there on time!!! I will leave positive feedback because she communicated well with me and did get me my FE on time as promised. However, I would be very upset it I ordered it so long ago and it is literally coming down to the wire to getting it...that is just frustrating! In that type of business..where timing is crucial..she should REALLY have some sort of system to ensure they are received WELL in advance of the cruise...just my .02

FE gifts can be anything really. Something from your home state, little fun toys or whatever. There is a thread with all kinds of ideas. I would search it down, but right now I am trying to work and wrap up my trip prep. We leave tomorrow morning at 7:25am!

I shouldn't even be on the thread . OK, I will get back to work.

What kind of stuff is good for FE gifts? I have never done this before. Kinda clueless!!

Also, where do we get the sign that we put on the door of our cabins?

The list you have is an old list. Look at the new list Susan is emailing you. Summer 2002 and Oregon Traveler are not members of the exchange.

Was yours from Gradysmommy too??? Yes, she really should - it's super frustrating. I have two coming from her & it's made me so sad. I have invested so much time, energy & money into these FE gifts (which i am MORE than happy to do!) but then for me & my parents not to have the FE's - makes me one sad momma! Think good thoughts for me - I'll let you know tomorrow!

Melissa, now I am sending positive thoughts that yours arrive too. Just an FYI - it didn't arrive regular mail, but USPS with a driver & had to be signed for.

I'm crossing everything for yours now.....

Yes, mine is here too! Big sigh of relief! It is very nice, but I agree, if I knew then what I know now, I would have just made something myself and not stressed so much about it.

Bought my Disneyland tickets and have been researching World of Color options. I think we're going to order picnic lunches. Seems like the best option.

Got our door magnets done plus a few extra for our friends! Mostly packed but I still have a few things to take care of I just can't seem to get up and get going this afternoon.

I keep making lists, finishing them and then thinking of ten more things to do or buy so todays list consists of:

-pack stuff for the car ride
-get all the chargers and camera stuff together
-pack the clothes for our Sat night stuff( packing a separate small bag for our overnight before the cruise)
-Write out the instructions for mom who's taking care of our dog
-color my hair

Yes, you are correct. The best option is the picnic lunches. We went last September and did the dinner at Ariel's Grotto. It is my understanding that the people with the picnic lunches were assigned to stand in the same area as those who ate at the Grotto.

The World of Wonder Show is a great show.

Yes do the picnic lunch - we actually pick up our food early, cause my kids are hungry before the show! U can pick it up for quite a long time before! Take lots of glow in the dark stuff, or be prepared to pay Disney prices

Finish packing my stuff and kids' stuff. Hubby is on his own, although I think he's done
Choose books to read during cruise
Take dog and bird to my in-laws'
Take cat to kennel
Write instruction list for older daughter who is house sitting for us (taking care of our zillion fish)
Get all of the chargers and electronics together and packed in carry-ons
Check in for our flight

I'm sure there is more, that's just on the top of my head.

Yes, those bags are cute, so good bonus. I warned everyone that the food is COLD, but I don't want to hear any complaints.

I think I need to make a list. I've been going off of the top of my head so far and I'm starting to pace and walk in circles. No coffee for me tomorrow... that makes my ADD worse!!

We fly to Long Beach on Saturday, get in at 4:50pm, then it's off to the Doubletree...hope to see some of you there. The get together is at 7:00pm right? In the lobby?
