I just emailed the lady who is making my FE - even though my estimated delivery date is tomorrow - I just had a feeling...

My response - 'sorry, i've been a little busy, I should be able to mail it mon/tues, so you should get it around Friday'

I may be the cabin with a whole foods bag attached to my FE

That's terrible! Do I have time to throw one together for you? hmmm... Let me know if you run into more problems and I'll see what I can do.

Aww you guys are so great - I asked when I ordered if I could get them by this weekend, & was told yes - I even said I didn't care about the designs - whatever would make it easier & faster. She has just responded that she will make sure it's here by Wednesday - so I should be good. I just had a minor panic - all the work i put into my FE gifts & I'll have no FE

it's lucky I'm not traveling before hand tho!

Speaking of packing my ds decided he couldn't wait anymore and packed today. He had 3 bags packed, more like stuffed. I looked at him and asked what did you pack?

I open his bags and he has packed his entire wardrobe. I mean this kid would not have anything to wear for the next week while we are home. I explained that we didn't need to take EVERY pair of sweats he owned and 2 sweaters and 2 long sleeve shirts and his light jacket. Plus he had most of his shorts, tshirts and every clean pair of socks. Oh and he didn't match anything. So most of what was packed had no coordinating shirt or shorts. It was a complete mess.

His response: "I packed what was on the list"

He wasn't very happy with me when I pulled everything out and we started over. I'm such a mean mom.

You are going to LOVE it!

Tip: Call ahead and request a room on a top floor overlooking the park, or the pool area. Both GREAT views. Personally, i would suggest the pool view right now since there's so much construction going on at GC. What type of room did you book?

If you got a 1 or 2 BD, take bubble bath. You will love to soak in the tub with bubbles.....

This trip we booked a studio. We have family in the SoCal area, so we go to the beach, visit family and of course do DL. We have local area restaurants that we love, so no need for a kitchen. Besides, the points are a little steep for 5 nights in a 1br

I heard that the higher floors are best so I took your advice and requested a higher floor park view room..fingers crossed we will get a good one!

Quick suggestion...can someone who is "in the know" post the meeting time, place for kids, adults etc. I know its on this thread somewhere, and I'm pretty sure I know when/where..but thought it would be a nice reminder

Did you order from gradysmommy? I also ordered from her and she assured me it was going in the mail today or tomorrow. I'm just wondering if she's making all of ours

I'm so excited for the cruise but have been totally stressed getting everything together too. We've had a problem getting my oldest daughter's passport because the bc we had was the California short form I paid 90 bucks for some expedite place to get me this long form, still no bc. It's been almost 2 weeks. Now I paid another 60 bucks to another company but they say it takes 10 business days. Finally got in touch with a live human today willing to help me and it should have been sent today or Monday at the latest. By the time I get on the ship I'm REALLY going to NEED this vacation!!!!

I shouldn't proclaim to be in the know with how frazzled I am right now, but I think it's 2:30 at the Promenade Lounge. Can't wait!!!

Having a heck of a time getting my door magnets made, computer trouble. Wondering if there is something pre-made at Michael's, Wal-Mart of Target.

California is the absolute worst when it comes to birth certificates. My husband was born there and it was a nightmare getting a copy of his BC. But we got it 3 years ago before we went on our first cruise, now we just have to keep the passport updated thank goodness. I'm praying for good luck for you to get what you need!

You'll love the one from gradysmommy!! It will all be worth it. Mine is from her, and it's so cute!! It hangs in my craft room when we're not cruising. I had her make one for my parents, and for our friends also on previous trips. The quality is great and definitely better than what I could make on my own.

EEEKKK two more days and we leave for Disneyland. Almost packed. Have to make my magnets today.

I have to tell you I havent been able to have a vaction with my older kids (27, 25, 21) with my younger kids {11, 8} in probably 11yrs. This cruise is going to be the best vacation every. I will have all my kids and my husband together for 7 full days. Disney does help make your dreams come true!!!! \

Thank you! Looks like the pixie dust is working already. I got an email from VitalCheck that my docs are all uploaded, so hopefully one the ladies was able to get it in the mail Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

We're also staying at the Doubletree on Saturday. DH and I have our grandson Andre (9) with us. He's talked with Kailua Belle's son and said hi on the kids facebook page to a few kids and is looking forward to meet more at the hotel.

Spent today running all over picking up some last minute items...will start packing tomarrow.

Started packing today. It's difficult, because the 10 day forecast for LA is predicting low 60s and rain for next weekend. Have to pack for the cooler wetter weather as well as the hot Mexico weather.

Hi everyone! DW on 03/20/2011 will be out first time on Disney-but 6th cruise, 4th with our kids (girl 10, son 8). We are traveling with 3 other families. Wondering about how to get involved in the FE? Sounds like so much fun.
Also, can anyone comment on the kids club activities?
