I know they do the braiding, I've seen it in photos on a couple of trip reports. I have no idea the cost though!

Half a head is $25 - but I think they only offer appointments on day 1 & 2 you can make appointments on day 1 2.30-3pm on deck 9 :)

Getting so close!! I just purchased our Disneyland park tickets, and am SOOOO excited!!! We are staying at the Grand Californian for 5 days after the cruise :cool1:

I'm so excited for both, I think I might bust! Thank you Disney for giving us adults that "Christmas Eve" excitement I remember as a kid :worship:

So the Wonder had to miss Cabo today for an extra day at sea because of the tsunami warning.

But if you've never been, you will LOVE it. It's our "Home away from Home" at Disneyland... We won't stay anywhere else..... Hopefully we'll see you at the pools.... our other favorite area to hang out at Disney...:yay:

Oh how they would LOVE that!!!! :thumbsup2

I didn't think of the impact the tsunami would have on cruise ships..that is a bit scary, but I'm hopeful everything will be fine

I know exactly what you're saying. As I was packaging up my FE gifts last night, my son said, "wow, this is like Christmas!"

One more week!

I own Disney Vacation Club points @ the Grand Californian, this will be our first trip "home" I've never stayed there, I'm a self-proclaimed "Disneyland Hotel snob" :rotfl2: (my favorite hotel on earth). But, I cannot wait to stay @ Grand Cal...and the pool, the spa...ahhhhhh....

pssssst...this could be the longest week of my life..lol :dance3:

WOW! Have so much fun for all of us.....:rotfl:

See you soon!

Hi all! I called DCL this week and was told formal night is day 3, Pirate Night is day 5, and semi formal is day 6.

I also got the address to ship a box, if anyone is interested:
Metro Shore Services, Birth #93A
World Cruise Center
Terminal Manager's Office
San Pedro, CA 90731
Ph# 310-514-4051

on the box write:
Your Name
Sail Date
Ship Name
Stateroom #
Packing Slip w/ a detailed list of the box contents.

The box must arrive by 3pm the Thurs before our sail date (3/17)

It's getting so close... time to figure out exactly how much we can take, and if we'll need to send a box. The FE's are fun, but they take up a lot of space!

I'm am looking forward to the meet up and meeting all of you!:dance3:

Thanks for this, getting our box ready to ship this weekend. Going to put our pirate stuff, FE stuff and other non-essentials in it so we don't have to be weighed down as much at the airport! Great info and SO helpful..thanks much!!!

Well, WELCOME HOME fellow DVC owner. We own at the VGC too!!

You are going to LOVE it!

Tip: Call ahead and request a room on a top floor overlooking the park, or the pool area. Both GREAT views. Personally, i would suggest the pool view right now since there's so much construction going on at GC. What type of room did you book?

If you got a 1 or 2 BD, take bubble bath. You will love to soak in the tub with bubbles.....

I just emailed the lady who is making my FE - even though my estimated delivery date is tomorrow - I just had a feeling...

My response - 'sorry, i've been a little busy, I should be able to mail it mon/tues, so you should get it around Friday'

I may be the cabin with a whole foods bag attached to my FE :rotfl2:

Who did you order it from? Mine was supposed to be here today, but when I e-mailed her this week she said it would be here Monday. Friday wouldn't work for me, that's the day we're leaving! I guess I don't have much patience when I order something a month ago and they say it will be here a certain day. :confused3

If you had a delivery date from a site like ebay, you should e-mail back and ask for her to mail it 1 or 2 day priority for no cost. It's not your fault.

It was from Ebay, shes saying Wed or Thurs now - yeah, mine were ordered more than a month ago too - maybe it was the same lady.......

It's not like its something that was done for free - I PAID for it! Anyhoo, I shall not let it dampen my spirits - my parents fly in from the UK tomorrow, then I can finally start preparing!

Lola's pirate costume arrived today - its so stinking cute pirate:

I agree with the 1 to 2 day priority shipping... if a date was promised to you, then it should be kept. They know they're for booked cruises, and should respect that. If you get it late, it's useless to you:confused3

Sorry that it turned out that way for you.. I'm sending some pixie dust your way...pixiedust:pixiedust:
