Hi everyone - I sailed the Wonder to Alaska this summer and the internet was abysmal. I researched extensively before we sailed, read all of the scathing reviews and thought I knew what to expect. It was 100 times worse. I would love to be able to just disconnect from work, but unfortunately my job does not allow from that. While the cruise was great, the stress of not being able to deal with issues that arose at work was quite stressful. I could barely receive and respond to emails, so I didn’t bother trying anything more exotic like Teams or Zoom calls.
Fast forward two months and I am clearly suffering from Stockholm syndrome and am itching to get on my next Disney cruise ASAP.

I am looking at a 4 night sailing out of San Diego down to Cabo in December. The problem is that I have a full day of Teams calls re a project I am leading on the second day of the cruise (day at sea). All of our meetings are pre-booked, and everyone has committed to attend, but this one has a 50/50 chance of happening as it is the final wrap up meeting. If we are able to conclude everything the week before it will not be necessary. But if we don’t, I will need to find a way to join.
Has anyone sailing on the Wonder from San Diego down to Cabo had a better experience with internet that I did in Alaska? Has ANYONE been able to join a Teams call??
