Disney Wonder Hawaii Sept. 2015

I wanted roundtrip also. For those that wanted roundtrip, is anyone else considering btb or am I the only crazy one? :crazy2:

What makes you believe Vancouver? Was really hoping for round trip out of So Cal.

Just calculating the 2 different dates currently on the port schedules, makes it seem that, since there are 2 dates for each port, that there are two separate cruises. They wouldn't visit the same port twice in one cruise like that.

The ship also can't sail from Vancouver to CA departing on Sept. 7, and get to its first Hawaiian port by Sept. 13.

If I were going to book a Hawaii cruise on DCL - it would be a one-way.

I want round trip but would do b2b if it was around 15 days.. Don't think DH could swing a 20 day vacation if they were 10 day one way cruises plus extra day for travel time. :(

Thing is the B2B will be pricey. Won't be even close to half the cost of a RT also it would be around 20 days. Not 15.

Well if this pans out my decision for next year will be easy and I'll be doing a PC cruise!

One ways to Hawaii might be a little rough to handle especially since I was hoping to take my grandmother and avoid a flight. Guess we will need to see what Disney has up its sleeve and hope for the best. An end point in Los Angeles or San Diego would be best for us so we would only need a one way flight. I think we could manage that.

If you want a Hawaii cruise that ends in LA or SD, you'd better be hoping for a round trip one. One way cruises from Hawaii can't end in LA or SD due to the PVSA.

They could do a Vancouver-Hawaii-(LA or SD) with no PVSA issues.

But, as the port schedules seem to indicate 2 stops in each Hawaii port just a few days apart, it looks like one way cruises are the most likely outcome. And they would probably be to/from Vancouver, with a Van/SD repo following. And you couldn't do a Hawaii-Van-SD B2B, again, because of the PVSA.

And Disney is hoping you'll stay at least three days at Aulani.
even if I were to do a one way, I would not stay there. To expensive even with my points and to far from all the stuff I want to do. So no to Aulani

Any new rumors on when this one will be announced? We are hoping the pricing does not price us out but it may fall right after our 10 year anniversary and over DS and DH's birthdays so we are really hoping to book!

I've been struggling with the same thing.

Based on my conversation with the kids today, looks like we'll skip this. We've cruised roundtrip to Hawaii twice and they said they would like to go to WDW instead in 2015. I can't really blame them, they've only been to WDW the 1 day last year, but I am a bit sad, :worried: because I loved our Hawaii cruises. I might have been able to convince them on a round trip, so maybe if the schedule changes to make it a round trip we can revisit the discussion, but otherwise looks like we won't be doing Hawaii in 2015.

We might try a short cruise with WDW - does anyone know when the double dips are in 2015?

A one way is my dream for Hawaii....
last Sept we did at week at Aulani on points and a week at Marriott Ko 'Olina were we own and it was heaven...it's perfect....it's far enough away from the night life but close enough if you have to go downtown.

We were also just there in Jan/Feb for the Pro Bowl and it was wonderful at Marriott...

One can only hope....

We go every year and it would be so cool to combine a Disney cruise into it as well....

...time will tell....

I am really hoping for the Hawaii trip next year. We have done a 15 day on another cruise line, but want to do it Disney Style. :cool1:

We have been on three Hawaii cruises (Princess, HAL, and Celebrity). We would like to try a Hawaii cruise on DCL too.
