I (Brad) was part of a FE group on a sailing a couple of years ago. I was new to the whole thing, but it really is a lot of fun, a la secret santa! I don't know if I will be able to help with specific questions, but I can try.

Can hardly wait- we only have 151 days until we all set sail!!!

I completely understand. To my understanding a FE group is a group of people who participate in a gift exchange amongst each other. Its a great way to meet your fellow Disney cruisers. This particular group is capping off at I believe 10 cabins.
I found this on the DISboards hope it helps. If you have any other questions please let me know.
On the DISboards discussion forums, it is very popular to participate in a Fish Extender exchange. This entails having a fish extender hanging off the fish outside your room. If you aren't sure how the exchange works or the size and shape of a fish extender be sure to visit the links below. A fish extender can be made of cloth, plastic or vinyl. It can be very creative or very simple. If you don't care to create your own Fish Extender, you will find many auctions on EBay where one can be customized for you.

All the people in the exchange buy little items and place them in each other's fish extenders. It is great fun to come back and check the items you have received.

Hello! Sorry it took me a while to respond, I had trouble getting my family to list their favorite characters I last name is Piper and we are staying in state room 6544. We have no allergies.

We are excited for our first cruise and fish exchange! I've been doing some research online, when will we have our lists? If the group gets large will we separate into multiple groups with the option to join several?

Thank you for your info.
To answer a few questions this group's cut off date to sign up will be December 1st. We thought this would be a great time so everyone has a chance to take advantage of the deals and spend that time working on everyone's gifts. By December I will send a final list to everyone with every group memebers info. Any changes that may arise from then untill the cruise I will make corrections as well as notify the group. As well as have a dry eraser board on ship so if by chance you upgrade we can notify everyone with the board. As far as splitting groups our group has decided to have a cut off limit of 10 cabins per group. We are already at 10 cabins now and still have time left for our cut off date to join. I'm sure if there are a few more cabins from now untill then we can add them. No sense in having a separate group for 2/3 cabins. Now I've been told that there are other FE groups on the internet you may participate in if you'd like. But per rules on Disboards we are not allowed to mix info within other internet sites. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please let me know.

As the Leader of this awesome Fish Extender Group (I've nicknamed us the Wonders)
I would just like to touch base with everyone. In reminder that the Group will be closing for add-on come December 1st 2016. If by chance we do have any late comers I will provide a Pixie List.
To make things as smooth as possible please inform me of any changes or special request so I may complete the list and get it out to everyone as soon as possible.(Side note I will also have a dry eraser board for any changes that may occur on the ship so no worries there.) Have been reading posts from people sailing on the re-imagined Wonder and everyone has plenty of good things to say. We are really excited about seeing her but will not board until the bus from WDW drops us off, usually about 12:30, we'll be the family with the big smiles entering the lobby.
