Disney Wonder Eastbound Panama Canal - October 2015

We'd be up for trick or treating. Just did. Scavenger hunt/ToT on the cruise I am currently debarkjng. Went well.

I love the ideas of fifteen minutes (or twenty, thirty etc) for the floors. That would be great.

This may be a stupid question. I read where the roll call list was updated but I can not find where it is at. Does anyone see the list for it? I have looked and looked. Just wanted to make sure my husband I were added to the list.:confused3:confused3

Has anyone ever found out ahead of time, before the cruise, what their dining rotation was going to be? Is that possible to do? It would help when the time comes to sign up for Palos.

Just got off the Fantasy yesterday and booked this one as our next one! Super excited to participate in FE, Trick or Treating and everything else! My boys will be 2 and 3 at time of sailing!

We are so excited about this trip! Just finished a 5 day out of Miami with a trip to WDW thrown on at the end! We did that in the wrong order, still lots of fun, but we needed pampering after WDW and the cruise did that so well!

4 adults, (i.e. big kids) who love the Disney service, and come on, who doesn't love running into their favorite character on-board! This will be our first Panama cruise, which is awesome! I have been wanting to sail Panama for what feels like forever!

Yippee!! We are officially booked now. Even managed to rent out all my 2014/15 DVC points already and it will mostly pay for the whole trip. We decided to upgrade to a porthole cabin this time too. Would love to join the facebook page but I've been pending there for over a week now. :-( We'll probably do FE too (had a blast with is last month on back to back Fantasy cruises)

Nope, can't get your dining rotation in advance, but you can request a specific one. I THINK on the WBPC this year it was 'normal' (no doubling up same restaurant two nights in a row or anything like that).

As far as Palo goes, book WHATEVER is available. It is easier to 'tweek' an existing reservation than to not book because a specific night you wanted wasn't available and you were thinking of waiting to get on board to book it.

We have requested rotation early and even a specific rotation and have received it. We do not particularly like the Parrot Cay menu, so routinely try to have that as Palo night and not repeated if we can. The 14 day PC cruise will be difficult to not have any PC, but if we can, we will book Palo more than once on those nights! I will see again if we can request a dining rotation (closer to sail date), maybe this has changed since we did it last?

The PC menu will only happen once on the cruise (just three nights of 'rotational' menus) all other nights will have a theme and the same menu in every restaurant (Pirate night being a good example). So you only have to avoid PC once! Suppose you could use this year's EBPC as an example of what the theme is each night, but it could only be a guideline.

Hi there. Hubby and I just got off the Magic and have booked the Panama. Looking forward to a nice long cruise. :)

Unfortunately, posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

PLEASE review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one seems to be coming forward to organize a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to organize the FE right in this thread. There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Many Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS.

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Booked this cruise in September and are very excited to be joining you all for such a looooonnnng and exciting cruise!!!

The Wonder was my first cruise. I am very happy to introduce my wife to her.

We were in this years WBTA as well.

Due to new Dis policies, I do not expect to be on here much, but will add us just the same.

Lucas (37, turning 38 on board)
Jennifer (30).

This will be our first cruise since the one we had last year was cancelled in January for unexpected maintenance. We are so excited. It will be the DW, myself and DS (13). The DW and I will be celebrating our 17th anniversary and the DS 14th Bday. Does anyone know if they will be doing anything special for halloween? Anyways just waiting to hear back from the TA to book.

FWIW: I talked to DCL about Halloween on the High Seas this week. Nothing officially announced yet. DCL suggested we would know for certain sometime closer to the cruise (i.e., 3-4 months before).
