GROOMSMAN STAUS

Our groomsman count is now up to: 4!!
Only 3 more to go! :)

I will be mailing out those Groomsman cards later on this week!

DRESS

I think I am getting closer to the right dress, I think I have it narrowed down to 2... so I need to try those on again.. :) Jan. 15th can't get here soon enough!

DIET & RESOLUTIONS

My classic New Years Resolution is to get fit and healthy, not to necessarily drop like 50 lbs (although it would be nice..:lmao:) But now that I have a wedding... coming up towards the end of the year... that is definitely a motivator for me..

So I am cutting out all sugary drinks, soda, and my prized sweet tea.... and I am going to work on portion control as well as if I start really actually exercising I should lose something... :rotfl: and finally... trying my absolute best to get NON-fried stuff... and get grilled and veggies every chance I get.

HONEYMOON

We officially booked our DISNEYMOON last night!!!!! :woohoo:
November 12-19th, at Port Orelans French Quarter!!

My brother is a Disney fanatic, and guru of dining plans, so over the holiday he helped me with my dining, since we will be splurging and doing the DDXDP!
I know it is the not the best idea to have 3 meals in one day... BUT we tried to limit it to the days that we would be in that one park ALL day, so that we will still have time for rides and shows, and we are actually not breakfast eaters...but going more for the characters and for a few bites of waffles and yogurt!

The days will change based on the schedules and calendars for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas, EHM's, Wishes, Fantasmic and such but will stay the same, just might be on different days!

So I also had a question:

Now that I made my Honeymoon reservation, can I call Disney at any time and request a water view for our room, and let them know that it will be our Honeymoon celebration? Or is there a time limit that this has to be done?

Your ideas are great! I love your colors too! I have a feeling we may end up doing something similar! That teal is definitely in our color pallette! haha. Can't wait to see what else you come up with! Love it. Good luck girl! ;D

Woohoo! ;D & as far as your DisneyMoon goes.. I've eatten at a lot of those restaurants & I would HIGHLY recommend getting yourself some reservations if you haven't done so already. ;] That way you will be guaranteed to eat at the KEY restaurants that you want to go to. =]

When we were there in Dec you'd be surprised how many places actually didn't have any open seating aside from reservations. Yay.

Good luck once again girlie.
:wizard:

So I have been messing with some DIY stuff and came up with some different silhouettes for the invitations and reply cards... I like the original design I found, but I can't for the life of me change the color from the navy blue, and it doesn't have a romance feel, but I am in love with silhouettes, so that is probably what I am going to be using, but haven't figured out how yet. More than likely the design will be at the bottom of the invites and reply cards.

Also, I made some table cards for the reception. I am having a buffet, so I will not have assigned seating, but we can still use table names to coordinate tables for the buffet line, and I think it ties in the theme nicely. I am using Disney couples- I am either going to put them in photo frames, or display them front and back some how. Here are a few of them, and a close up of one. I also snuck my monogram in there, that I love! :lovestruc

I have a job interview tomorrow... so hopefully will be posting soon with some good news!!:woohoo:

I really like the first silhouette you did!

Also, where did you find the bride and groom Mickey and Minnie? They're adorable!

Thanks Wendy! :) I am debating whether I like the trees in the silhouette..

I just did a google images search for Mickey & Minnie Wedding. If you can't find it, I can send you the image!!

So I love what you came up with.. but I think I'd get rid of the trees & perhaps add something a little more beachish or something, because the trees take away from Mickey & Minnie. Kinda do something on a smaller scale? Even if it's some filigree?? =]

So we have ice in South Carolina... which translates into the entire State being closed down in a mass panic....:rotfl:

DF has to go over like 4 bridges to get to work, so they have closed the bridges so he gets to stay and work from home!!! :goodvibes YAY!!

So this weekend was a busy one! We ventured out to Target on Saturday, and I found these beauties! ( can't get the pictures right-side up for the life of me...)

They actually had an entire section to Disney stuff in the Housewares section! If there is no Target near you, you can order them online from Target.com as well.
I saw these two as well, but refrained from buying them... well at least for now.. :)

Also, we went back to MB yesterday for my very first Bridal show! I went with my mom and sister-in-law, and had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it! AND guess who won a free back, neck, and shoulder massage, a facial, and a manicure??? :woohoo: And it doesn't expire so I know what I will be doing right before the wedding... :rotfl:

Gonna try to mess with some more wedding stuff today.. will post if I come up with anything creative!

Happy Monday All!

First off... I LOVE your plates & such! I may have to go make a purchase for our hopeless chest!! (inside joke between my father & I.. haha. ;D) To save the dishes for when we get a place!

Second, look at you you lucky duck! =] I have a spa package that my DF bought me for Christmas that I can't wait to use! ;D Go you!

I did lots of DIY'ing this weekend.. once its finished tonight I'll be sure to post it! ;D:cheer2:

love the plates! Did you see the Disney villain line that they had? I bought some, they are sooooo cool!

So I worked on my mock std's, invites, rsvp cards, and website inserts.

I have the same concept, but just changed them up a little bit. As you can tell I have fallen in love with the Mickey and Minnie kiss silhouette, so I am trying to tie everything together. I changed the background of the std to white instead of the original black-which I figured will severely drain my ink cartridges... :rotfl:

What do you think?

I think your stationary turned out excellent. It looks really good. Very good idea on the white back ground. YOu would have gone through ink like crazy!!!

Hey! Your ideas are too cute! I love the silhouette too! & plan on incorporating that everywhere with our invites & such! =] Everything looks really good! The only thing I would say is maybe try a like script/calligraphy font for the invite themselves. & have your names/parent names in the Walt font?

Just wanted to say that I love those plates and such! ADORABLE! I'm thinking about picking up a few as well!
And your std's and invites are so cute :)

Thanks! :goodvibes

LOL... the reason I am doing DIY is to save money!!! haha, that would have totally cost at least $50+ for ink! :scared1:

:cool1: Yay for us!!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:
