Realize that conversations here become about more than the op. Well, I guess you know than having been a member for so long. Sometimes, as was the case with many of my posts, the frustration comes out at people giving counterproductive advice.

I hope that the trip gives your family something to at least distract.

Just an update....the adoption has fallen through, so everyone can breathe a sigh of relief...
