Help! My DH & I are leaving for Disney on 11/4. We fly into Tampa pick up my DM,my Aunt & my 50 something single brother. My Aunt & Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary party at Fulton's on Saturdsay night. On Sunday night Illumination cruise. My Aunt Reba has never been to Disney, I would really like to show her. I've already did PSs for O'Hana's on Sunday mornning. I really don't want to spend the whole day at Epcot. Do you think I can get in 2 parks in one day? My DM will have to be in a wheelchair & I'm not too sure about my DH either, he's recovering from a laser procedure on a herniated disc. HELP!

If you have wheelchairs in your party, you'll have to allow extra time to park hop, especially if you use Disney transport with the chairs.

My mom is 81 and uses a wheelchair at the parks because she's had 3 surgeries on the same hip. At home, she is fully ambulatory with a cane. Allow these folks to enjoy themselves without being rushed through the parks, especially if they have not been there before...remember how overwhelmed you were at all the sights, sounds and smells of Disney during your first visit? Give them the pleasure of feeling the magic.

I used to live in Dover near route 10.

Anyway...I'd balance your wants with their needs. You don't say how long you are going to be there. IMHO EPCOT can be a two day park...some of that is due to the distance between displays. So if you only go a half day you won't see much of what is there. I usually do EPCOT in two "evenings" with an evening starting at about 3pm.

If you are only going one day I'd probably only go to one park ...other than EPCOT... OR I might go into EPCOT for dinner and walk around the world showcase.
