Disney Weight Loss 2

I've sorta got a question....

Ok (almost) every day I take a 1-hour walk and I do the Wii Fit for 30 minutes.....I'm trying to get my mom to get me a gym membership too...

how long do you think it'll take to start seeing results? I just kinda wanna know so that I can think about future referances
Are you eating healthy? Like Fatphil said, if you don't adjust your diet then you really won't start seeing any results. BUT, exercise is always good for you. :)
 
Oh well, you'll get there eventually. :)

So, my weigh-in day was a success! I've lost a total of 9.2 pounds since I started. :)

I'm not seeing the results that I was, actually I'm not really seeing results that much. I think it's because of my lack of will power to get to the gym. So I'm buckling down now. Hopefully I'll be able to stay on track. Somehow I always seem to fall off the line. I've got the healthy food aspect down so now adding in more constant gym time is the next step.

Don't worry about seeing the results. You're doing something good for your body, and that's the most important thing! Just keep swimming...:p

Okay ya'll, my favourite food on the planet are tacos. I've made them for years with this super yummy (but extremely fattening) recipes. I was kind of disappointed after changing my lifestyle that I wouldn't get to eat tacos anymore, well that's gone!

I made these amazing tacos tonight! The filling was 98% fat free ground turkey, onions, peppers, tomatoes, chiles, black beans, and corn in a pita (they taste kind of like flour tortillas) with fat free cheese, salsa verde, and piles of lettuce. I was so proud of myself for making a healthy subsitute. :)

Also, I bought some more peanut butter tonight. Dark Chocolate peanut butter from Peanut Butter & Co. It only has 6 ingredients (how depressing are those mile long ingredient lists?) and no high fructose corn syrup! I'll only eat it when I'm really really craving chocolate (or a reeses, lol) but I'm really glad I found it.

MMMMmmmm.. I have some of that sitting in my room. I had to hide it from my siblings because they were taking it all. It's natural peanut butter too, which is a bigger plus.

Yep, that's what I love about! My cousin recommended it to me; she's a vegan and it's vegan friendly.

Also, no HFCS. Blech, that stuff is in everything, and I'm trying not to buy anything with it.
 
Ok, so Im still doing the exercises from Seventeen and Im really not liking them. Like I said I like to feel a burn when I exercise and the exercises provide no burn. Im gonna still stick with them though, cant do any harm.


I cant wait till it gets warmer here and I can star doing laps in the pool. And I cant wait till I get the cast off my leg and I can start riding my bike. I miss exercising, it makes my body feel soooooooooooo good.
 
I feel ya, saratogadreamin09. I have a pool too, and it's not quite warm enough for me to swim in yet. It's only about 85 degrees. It's a rathar large inground pool, so it's PERFECT for laps. I always feel much fitter in the summertime because when I'm bored I just go out there and do some laps! :)

Only 85!!????!!! I wish it was 85 here, its been in the 60's and raining for the last 2 weeks

I'm totally with you saratogadreamin09! 85 to me sounds amazing!!!!! :) It's been not as bad as you saratoga, but like high 60's low 70's and not pleasant. Every one is confused on if its actually summer or not. :confused3

I wish I could swim. My health club has a great pool. However, I can't swim. And I'm not kidding. I could survive if I got pushed in, but other than my survival instinct I just can't. :confused3
 
Our pool is going to be great by this weekend, I'm going to spend the whole weekend flipping around like a fish. :)

So, I'm getting really good at creating healthy recipes. First, I made a healthy alternative to my favourite food (tacos), and it was actually really fun. I love cooking and coming up with new mixtures. Each week when I go to the store, I buy a new spice I've never tried before -- it keeps things interesting.

ANYWAYS, I made sliced steak with carmelized onions and peppers, then I added some some fresh broccoli. It was delicious! On the side I made mashed potatoes, YES, mashed potatoes! I used red potatoes (skin on) with a tiny dash of skim milk and a tablespoon of smart balance. They were very yummy.

Then tomorrow I'm making italian chicken (basically chicken cooked in tomato sauce, italian herbs, and veggies all day in the crock pot) with whole wheat pasta and some sauteed yellow squash and zuccini.

I'm kind of loving this! :)

2 weeks till my ankle boot comes off and I can start to really exercise again, I was gonna go swimming in my aunts pool tonight but I decided not to bother
 
lol just got home five minutes ago from a week at Disney and didn't add a single percent to my body-fat. Sweet.
 
tonight I got hungry around 8 and instead of having ice cream I had popcorn

Im just so proud of myself for resisting the temptations of ice cream
 
So, today I realized the best part of working on a farm is eating healthy foods all day


strawberries,raspberries, peas, and radishes YUMMY
