I have been looking on the Disney Weddings site and i have been very confused about the pricing of a wedding there. How much does it cost for a simple wedding + dinner for about 20 guests? I know there is a lot of factors but im looking for a starting point. lol

20 people would usually be an escape wedding, but that doesn't include a meal and they are between $4500-$5000. EVI suggested the best thing to do is to check out that book and i'd agree but if you didn't want to buy the book i'd suggest searching through planning journals and seeing other brides BEO's or just call disney weddings up and ask because honestly the minimums seem to change every year so it all depends. Hope that helps :goodvibes

...However, it should be noted that the minimums listed in the book are kept up-to-date. :teeth:

That they are and that reminds me - the OP should check out lurkyloo's podcast
http://disneytravelbabble.com/podcast/
-there's always great up to date info on them too and spotlights on vendors and pretty much anything you could think of - i listen to them on my break all the time - i'm a senior in college i'm supposed to study, i don't think that's what the profs had in mind exactly but i'm studying :lmao:

I have too many relatives (about 120), so the wedding will be too expensive if to have it here...

That is EXACTLY why I decided to have an Escape wedding!:lmao:
"Oh...I'm sorry, I can only invite 18 people. Disney's rules!":thumbsup2

That's exactly what I was thinking when we booked! Only I took it up another notch and booked Sunset Pointe, which meant we could only invite 8 people, haha Problem solved!

I have one of those "Big" Italian families. We had 300 on our guest list and it was still going. We hadn't even added friends yet. It was too large and not what we wanted.

Which is why we decided to get married on the Disney Cruise. We took the immediate family with us (parents and brothers/sisters and family) and treated them to the cruise with the money we would have otherwise spent on 8 hours with distant cousins we only see at weddings and funerals.

I'd much rather spend 8 days instead with my immediate family to relax and have loads of fun and memories to make.

STB DH is one of 9, so he has a larger family. I'm an only child. And even though he has a large immediate family, I have the larger extended family.

The cruise worked out perfect for us.
