Disney Wall Art Swap * complete *

Here is the link to the file.

http://www.4shared.com/file/AjeChmYM/mickeyheadwallart.html

I will try the link in a minute. The mickey heads need to be cut at

w=2.53
H=2.105

This makes them the same as the ones cut at 2 inches from the Mickey and Friends cart.

Okay, the link worked for me.

This looks good. I didn't cut it and compare it to the Mickey and Friends cart. Did you lay them on top of each other Cassey? The Mickey Font cart does have a different head--ears are more round. As a group we decided we all liked the Mickey & Friends one better.

Yup, I compared the ones I am working on now that I cut with the cart to the one I cut with the file, they are just a hair off. Side by side you can't tell the difference until you place them one on top of the other.

Thanks so much ladies!! As soon as I can reclaim my computer from dd#2. I'll get started.

Here are two more of my mickey heads...

Big Thunder Mountain, on the left, is a work in progress. The mountain isn't even glued down or trimmed or anything. I want/need to add to it but don't know how. Any suggestions? I have the BTMRR ding bats font. I tried making a train but it just looks crappy.

The Mickey on the right is for Triceratop Spin. I hope it represents it well. I watched videos and scoured google images for ideas. The swirls represent the "spin". The triceratops is pop-dotted.

Love the Triceratops spin!

What about the train on the Mickey font cart, just the engine? Shrink it to fit? Not sure if you have DS or a gypsy thought.

I didn't realize there was a train on the Mickey and Friends cart! I don't have DS or a gypsy but I can try cutting it small- maybe it'll turn out better than the train from the BTMRR font using SCAL.

I blame my indecision on the cute little black train brads I found online...DH didn't want me to buy more brads, but that's all I can envision! lol

If you can't cut a train that small? I wonder if there is a way to get tracks of some type? That would be small too though and might be difficult to cut?

Love everything posted

I had thought about tracks too...maybe behind the mountain? I'll give that a try tomorrow as well!

I can cut the train as small as .25 of an inch but sometimes things don't cut right when I cut them that small. I wouldn't need to cut it that small for this though, :)...probably an inch may work. I'm done working on it for the night though, I'll be spending some time on it tomorrow.

I may have spent my entire day in my pjs today. haha DH had his fantasy football draft party at our house yesterday- 14 men talking football and feeding their faces. I spent about 2 hours cleaning up last night after helping all day, crashed until 9:30 this morning and just never got out of my pjs. The biggest thing I did was put on a bra. hahaaha...showered this evening, put on new clean pjs, and now I veg some more. Gotta love labor day weekend and the bonus day off tomorrow!

Thanks for the ideas ladies!

love the Triceratop MH.... if you do the mtn how about adding a pick ax?

Love them, Dacky!

(So jealous of your PJ day. Something about showering and putting clean PJs on is my favorite part of PJ days :lmao: )

Here's my attempt with the Mickey and Friends train on a hand cut track. I chose red and green since the train is those colors in Disney.

Thoughts?

(obviously I'll trim the track; it's just laying on top right now)

Thanks ladies! I'll get to work on these later today and then all I have left is the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I am thinking of making it a large honey pot with glitter honey and perhaps a bee on there. Hopefully what I see in my head will look right on paper. :)
