Disney Visa

So, I booked with the Disney Visa offer last week. I already had a reservation booked but had paid the deposit with my Discover card. The CM requested a refund to Discover through an "e form" and then charged a deposit to my Disney Visa card. I am a little concerned b/c I have not seen the refund to my Discover yet. Anyone know how long that takes using the method she used? I thought maybe it would have been easier to cancel and rebook but she said this was easier way. The first email confirmation I received indicated the 2 deposits but then I got another one the next day and it only showed the 1 deposit as amount paid. Thanks!

This happened to us once it took about a month.

When I've cancelled a cruise (over a weekend) I saw the refund posted by the following weekend. This was with my Disney visa.

I agree with the CM. Why rebook and have to enter all the names, DOBs, addresses, etc. choose a cabin, dining, transfers, etc.??
My TA once posted a payment to the 'wrong' card when I asked her to pay a smaller amount to one card and larger amount to another & got them mixed up. She said it was easy to go back and switch payments.

That was nice that DCL is even willing to do that just so you can get the DV OBC. :goodvibes

A MONTH??? Really? Why on earth would it take that long? Usually when something is refunded it shows up right away on my credit cards.

I have no idea but after multiple calls to Disney and my cc company I finally got it about a month later.
