Disney Visa

I just called to price out options.

We are just 2 adults staying in a preferred room at Pop. 2 day tix and regular dining plan with S/P/D discount was actually more expensive than using just the RO offer and adding dining & tix at regular cost.

Oh well, still happy with the RO discount. But, we won't be doing the dining plan....

My TA just got us a room only discount at Beach club (35% off) for our entire stay from March 1-March 8. No black out for room only if you check in before it starts. This is not what has been reported here so I thought I'd share. Saved us $1300! Woo Hoo! :cool1:

That's not really correct. Room discounts don't extend past the date they are good for. The room discount, however, goes through April and doesn't have any blackouts.

I tried to apply RO or S/P/D to existing 1BR villa theme park view at BLT, but was DENIED! :-(

Getting conflicting info - are folks able to get the AAA room discount AND the Visa room only discount? So say Visa's discount is 20%, were you able to add the 10% AAA discount to it?

I booked 3 disney adults and 2 children with s/p/d, during the pin code time frame, for April 12 thru April 21 2014. Total was 4950.00 or close to that. I know it was under 5k. I had the cm break up totals. Then I went and priced out kids tickets kids dining (I thought she said 13 a day) plus my full price room and got the exact same total as the cm.

Is it true that Poly is a 35% discount this time around? I know they are doing construction, but that's where I REALLY want to stay and the discount would be worth braving the construction, IMO! I am making my life MUCH more complicated!

Nope, you cannot stack discounts. You would just apply the Visa discount in this case.

It appears that way, although it may vary depending on your dates and what availability looks like at the Poly right now. Can't know until you call to ask about your specific dates and room category, but the chances are good! :thumbsup2

It just doesn't make sense unless you factor in kids getting some sort of discount as well.

Sorry, just having fun trying to guess how the discount is broken up this year. Enough numbers come out and I'll be able to tell you what it is :P

I think kids are getting a discount too. I have 2 rooms booked for PO-FQ std view, 5 day base tixs, and DDP. Room 1 has 2 adults and 1 teen went from $2757 to 2203 and Room 2 has 1 adult and 2 young kids went from $2319 to 1963. I saved $910 which is darn close to free dining.

I was trying to do some comparisons on my own and I can't find the code anywhere. Do you have to call WDW, you can't do anything on-line? Tried to find the S/P/D on-line with VISA and there was nothing mentioned. Trying to get everything written out, so when hubby comes home we can talk.

With the Visa early releases, you have to call -- there is no online booking. The general public special offers will allow online booking.

Just booked 3 adults, 2 children at AsMu fs for 3/29-4/5 with reg DDP and 7 day tix w/wp more/hoppers. Total was $5927.09 with DV discount. Looking on WDW site it appears I saved $518.01! I was also offered AOA for $560 more.

I never expected to get 35% off at the BC in March. And the Flower and Garden Show will be going on, too! I thought I would book a trip today. :goodvibes
