Disney Visa

Hi all, I have a Disney visa and don't know anything about the discounts! (Except using it to book a cruise and getting an OBC). I've booked through AAA for April 23-25th, at Pop, should I call AAA or Disney to see if I receive a discount?? And what does p/s/d mean? Sorry to ask, I feel kinda silly, but if I can save some money I'll put aside my pride! :) Thanks!

I called at 7:50 and waited just a few minutes.

I got RO discount added to my WL reservation (1/8 - 1/13). I can't quite figure out the percentage because I had AAA to begin with but I saved $300!

Help! I only got 5% discount for existing ressie at POFQ in Feb. I told the CM I heard online about a Disney Visa discount. Am I missing something or is it just the 5%?

POFQ is included in the discount for February in case anyone was wondering. :)

I called this morning and applied the Disney Visa discount and saved about $400. I don't think the CM told you correctly.

Well, back to the drawing board for me...

I was told only CL rooms available for the discount at CR and Poly :( I'd love to stay CL but it would be about $600-800 more than we'd planned on spending.

I got a Garden Wing room at CR with the room only discount.

I just got S/P/D for a standard room at Port Orleans French Quarter, did not have to upgrade to garden view. She said so far this morning everyone she booked was asking for FQ. I saved $800, yay!!

Not sure if it's your dates - but I did get a discount on my WL CL room

I'm very happy to be adding s/p/d for so cheap, but has anyone else run their own numbers and come up just a bit off? I booked for about $25 more than what I had figured out. Can anyone think of what could cause that? I'll be staring at my worksheet all day if I can't figure this out!!!
It should be rack rate for room and then child prices for tickets and dining; right???

I forgot to say my 35% at Boardwalk Villas is room only. I was so excited to get a better discount!!

AAA will have to apply a discount for you.

You have the three components right. Are you using the 2013 dining plan prices in your estimate? They are lower than the 2014 prices, so maybe that's it?

My estimate was $45 more than actual, so that was nice. :goodvibes

I just called back and got a different cm who applied a room only discount to our art of animation reservation. Only saved $300 but its something. It's extremely frustrating that you get a different story from different cm's. I spent so long on the phone this morning my kid kids are probably going to miss the bus.

I went about it the very long way by seeing what the cost would be for just 2 adults and then adding 2 children to see what the children prices were.
Long story short, it's $18.88/day for dining; does this sound right?

$300 out of what? Does it work out to be about 15% or any higher?

Yes, but that would be pretax so maybe that's where the additional is coming from?
