I have almost $600 in rewards for our trip this time and trying to figure out the best way to handle it.

I can always call and have them sent to me, but I believe I read on here at one point that you can go to a DTD location and get the card and points while in Fla.

Can anyone help with that information? We have added a day to the beginning of the trip, so we plan on visiting dtd anyway.

Thanks!

Kelly

Guest services in DTD can issue a card and transfer points. We did this last visit. There is one near Rawlings/Team Mickey somewhat behind Ghirardelli. There is another on the west side near DisneyQuest. map DTD
You can also go online and have the card mailed to you with the $20 minimum, then transfer the balance online once you receive the card. :thumbsup2

It's super easy to get the card from DTD,

It's in the customer service area next to the phot-pass desk behind Ghiradellis.

You just walk up, present you Disney Vis, ask for a redemption card, they have them already in envelopes with all the instructions. You call the 800 number on the card and the points are avaliable within minutes. Take 3 minutes.

Being so close to our trip, that's probably your best way to go. I had mine delivered at home recently (for a trip in Jan.), and will add any "new" rewards points when I get down there. It's been a bad month for us--we're getting a new fridge, dishwasher, and stove this week. Add on Christmas shopping for 4 kids, and DH and I are racking up more points like nobody's business. Such a shame...

Shanna is right - I forgot that you have to tranfer the points yourself. :goodvibes

Thank you for all the responses! I was going to order the card last month but got to thinking I wanted all the points from this statement, not thinking that I was getting close to the trip. I also didn't realize I could get the card and transfer any new points...:rolleyes1 I guess I should have asked this question last month!

Thank you again! I will probably head to DTD on the first day and get our points. I was thinking we would probably eat there that day anyway, so it works out GREAT!
