Disney Visa Rewards Redemption

OK, this will be the first time redeeming my Disney Reward dollars from my Visa. The statement period ends just a few days before we leave so I won't be able to get the card before we leave, but it mentions that one can redeem their rewards at DTD??? Does this mean that they can look up my account and actually give me the reward card??? Or will I have to wait until my next trip to have it in hand.

I'm not sure about getting your cards at DTD, but I do have another suggestion for you. You can order the card the month before your trip, and then go online and have them add the rest of your points to the card after the last statement period closes. I had ordered a card for our trip in January, and just had the rest of our points added to the same card yesterday for our May trip.

I just called and they told me to pick up a rewards card outside of Magic Kingdom, then call them (Visa) from the courtesy phone and they will add the points to the card. Yea!!!!!

You can get a Rewards Card in Downtown Disney. If I recall, the place where you can get it is near the World of Disney Store. After the card is activated, you call the 800 number to transfer Reward Dollars to your card. I believe you need a minimum of 20 points the first time you load the card and them you can load more points in increments of 10.

That is correct - you need a minimum of 20 to get the card from Visa which is why I can't get it until our next statement billing date (yeah, I've been putting EVERYTHING on the card lately!!!!) which is right before we leave. So we'll get the card at either WoD or MK and then call to get the points transferred. Thank you!!!
