Disney Visa Rewards Question

I just looked at my most recent statement & I earned $6.73 worth of Disney Rewards...in the past (even the month prior), it was rounded to the nearest dollar...now I'm earning pennies???

This happen to anyone else? Did I miss an announcement that this change was happening???

Apparently you did miss the announcement.

We got a post card back in mid - November saying that instead of rounding up / down your pts they would now just give you a flat 1%.

So, before if you had

$50 - $149 in spending it would equal = $1 in Disney Reward $'s
$150 - $249 in spending it would equal = $2 in Disney Reward $'s

Now it's a flat 1%....so $175 in spending would equal = $1.75 in rewards.

I typically - since we're not going for about 18 months to DW -- had only 2 bills charged to this card each month that totalled around $52. This allowed me to earn $1 in rewards each month.

Now, unless I change how I use the card I'll only earn $0.52

Thanks for the quick response. I did not get the postcard...interesting...and sad. Oh well, I guess it's still free Disney money....just in pennies now...that's ok, I can spend them the same as I do dollars.

The change became effective 11/16, I believe.
