Disney Visa Rewards/DD Question

Hey all!

Does anyone know if you can use the Disney Reward Dollars CARD (For use only at the Disney Store) to purchase Disney Dollars??? If I'm correct in my thinking, Disney Dollars never expire, however the Rewards Certificates do... so, in effect, could you not purchase the Disney Dollars and them have a reward that will never expire??

Also, does anyone know how long you have to use your reward certificates before they expire??

From that brochure with the exceedingly fine print that came with the card:

Disney Dream Dollars have no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash or its equivalent...

I took this to mean that you cannot purchase Disney Dollars with them since they are a "cash equivalent". You may want to check with the manager of your local Disney Store just in case.

If you look back a week or two, you'll see my huge post that quotes a bunch of stuff from the literature that came with the card.

The Reward Dollars will expire 60 billing cycles from when there are accrued. I can't find anything on when the actual certs or cards expire. But since I plan (hope) to go to Disney World at least once every 5 years, I'll just convert everything to a cert about two months before I plan to go and take them with me. Or convert them to a card and go buy my pass at the Disney Store.

I guess we won't know what the actual "terms" of the certs and cards are until someone "cashes out."
