Disney Visa Rewards & DCL

Has anyone used their Disney Visa Rewards towards DCL? Can you use them to pay towards your cruise or shipboard account. If so, who did you have to give/send them to? If not, how can you use them towards DCL? Thanks

hey we have some points also could some one tell us how many points u need to do something with them on the ship

first you have call visa and tell them you want your reward dolllars and for the DCL and they send these $10 coupons and you take them on the ship and to the desk area and they apply them to your accounts.

OK, so I did all that on my cruise in July (works like a charm)....now, can I use the coupons to pay off the balance of the newly booked cruise (can't get off the boat without one)? I transfered my resie to a TA so I am sure that the TA doesn't want the coupons........is adding them to the shipboard account the only way to use them?

my understanding is that you can pay for your cruise with them...we are charging everything to earn points. Call the Visa people and tell them what you want to use you points for and ask. I think they have different vouchers for different payments...i.e one kind of couple for the stores and another for cruises. Our points coved half of our on board credit in July.
