Disney Visa rewards at HHI?

curious, does anyone know if I use my Disney Visa rewards points at Disney's Hilton Head resort? I have some saved up and was wondering if I should load them onto my rewards card for our upcoming trip for room charges etc.

Hmmm, I KNOW that I used ours at the Mercantile at HH before, and I think we've even used it towards our bill...

We're at HH now, I'll try to remember to ask again before we leave and will post the response.

I hope Disneyaholic is right and I just received the wrong info. That is another one of those "it all depends on who you talk to" situations. I probably should have called back and checked with someone else instead of taking "no" for an answer.

I just used my points earlier this month when I checked out to take care of our room charges. If the castmember says "no" or doesn't know how ask for a manager.

We used our reward dollars at Vero in May. Before we left, I emailed member services and asked if we could use them there. They replied "yes". I printed the email and took it with us. When we checked in, I confirmed with the front desk that we could use them. I would think if we used them at Vero, you should be able to use them at HH....

We used them to rent bikes, at the mercantile, and for some of the kids programs 3/04.

I think from now on when I get a "no" answer to something from a Disney CM, I will call back and verify with someone else. Kind of makes me mad because we have over $200 we could have used. Oh well, it isn't like we won't be going back to Disney or HH in the near future.
