Disney Visa rewards and gift cards?

I'm assuming you can use gift cards (received for applying for the Disney Visa) and Disney reward dollars toward trips?

1 - can anyone confirm this for BOTH of these
2- is this any different if you book through AAA or do you need to book directly with Disney to be able to use them?

Yes you can use the gift cards towards a trip.

Our AAA office won't accept the Disney gift cards because they aren't part of Disney.
