Can you use your Disney Visa Reward Dollars on Room Only Disney Resort balance?

I did this in april. When we checked in I just gave them the rewards card for the remaining balance and kept my disney visa on file for room charges.

You can for the deposit (I noticed it while using a disney giftcard to pay the deposit just today!), so I imagine you can for the balance.
