Ok so we have the disney visa and we are getting points..but my question is do you have to have a certain amount of points to use them..and how do you use them..i keep hearing how you transfer them to something and then you can use them at disney...can someone anyone help me out...Thanks..

No minimum number of points.

They do have to be transfered to a rewards card. It's another card that works just like a credit card in the parks. All the details and lthe ink to do so is on the website. I believe you can also do it over the phone.

Actually, we have to have 20 points before we can transfer. Perhaps different people have different agreements? We didn't get our card when it was still with bank one, we got it after they transferred everything to Chase.

To get the rewards card, just call the customer service number on the back of your card, or you can do it online.

You have to earn an initial 20 points, but after that, I believe there's no minimum on how many you have to have to transfer.

You do not need a minimum number of points to transfer them. Call the toll free number on your credit card and tell them you want them to send you a Rewards Debit Card with your points on it. That usually takes about 1-2 weeks, so allow for that time frame if you are going to cash them in to go to WDW. The Rewards Debit Card usually has an expiration date, so if you are going to take another trip to WDW before the Rewards Debit Card expires, keep it and the next time you want to put your points on it, all you do is call them and give them the Rewards Debit Card # and they electronically transfer them.

The Rewards Debit Card works just like any other debit card. You can use it anywhere on WDW property pretty much, except for maybe a few of the small kiosks where they don't have a credit card slider thing. You can use it for food, souvenirs, passes, whatever.

I generally use mine at the World of Disney store in the Marketplace.

Yes, you do need a minimum of 20 rewards dollars to order the card. To transfer points to the card after that, you need a minimum of only 10 rewards dollars.

You can go to www.chase.com and log in(or register) and click on "manage my disney rewards" and you can do everything online very easily.
