Disney visa points/dollars for room?

Can you pay for part of your room with the Disney Visa dollars/point rewards? I have $250 dollars on the card now & would like to apply it to our reservation.

Yes you can use it for your room. First you need to call to get a reward card. Its just like a cc and that is the number they enter into the system.

Yes you can. We just got back and when we checked in I gave the desk clerk my rewards card and ask them to put it on the room. The bill at the end of the stay had the balance due minue the rewards card amount.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your rewards card once you ask for it? We're leaving on our honeymoon and want to use the rewards there. When should I request it?

the cards usually come fairly quickly. But you can request the card anytime, and if you get more points, can add the points to the card. The card expires in a year or two after it is issued, so don't order it too far ahead of your trip. Also, make sure to use all the points before the card expires. You can use the card almost anywhere in the parks, or resorts.
