Disney Visa - Perks dwindling?

I liked the discounts available with the old Disney Club better. We used it or DL and as I recall it was pretty decent. WIth the Visa the only perks that we have used have been for the free stroller rental at DL, the free character photo, and racking up reward points to use on souvies. We were never fortuante enough to have the free movie certs as 1)the movies never came to our area or 2)the theatre doesn't exist in our area. I just wish that there would be a decent discount offered on rooms/tickets/or packages. Wasn't the origional intention to offer disounts on Disney trips that weren't avail to anyone but cardholders?

I had pretty much been using my Disney Visa exclusively until I got an email telling me my Delta Skymiles AMEX card would earn double miles for *everything* during the summer months. With the cost of airfare steadily rising, a free flight sounds better than a 1% reward.

You know, I was just wondering about this subject myself earlier this week, so I called Chase and asked about the 50th benefits. They told me all the 50th benefits had just been extended through 9/30/2007!!!

Perks???! What perks are for the 50th please??!

You know- I wish they would make it official about the Meet n Greet being extended into 2007- I wrote an email asking about upcoming offers for WDW as we have a trip planned and will just miss the Meet n Greet and the 10% at World of Disney- they wrote back and said basically 'sorry, keep checking back for new offers.'
