Disney Visa Offer in the Mail Today

mine was for over $700. The thing that is bad is that they tell you about it late in the month so you can't plan as much how you time your purchases.

We got the over $3000 version, too. I registered for it, but I don't know if we'll make the $3000 threshold. I haven't bought our park tickets yet, so that might help push us over. We put everything possible on the card, but we don't usually hit $3K/month.

I got one in yesterday's mail.

Mine was for the $700/month threshold on gas, groceries and dining. I already started with a $200 Easter Dinner shopping trip to Wegmans.

BTW, my last offer, (Jan-March) had the $3000 threshold.

What we did to max out was go to wegman's and trader joes and buy gift cards for those stores and others we know we'd use I would only recommend this if u would be paying off it of course. This allowed us to get the max bonus in one month versus having to get over the threshold each month

Lucky you! I have been using my Disney Visa card for 5 years. I put all of my purchases on it and pay it off each month. I have never been offered any bonus rewards.

I am a fairly new user, only had the card for about 1 year. I got my first offer after DH and I got the SW card, also from Chase, and started using that in lieu of the Disney Visa. So, I think they were seeing less activity on the card and got nervous, LOL. Try using another card for a while.

I received the $3000 offer for March and signed up for it even though we never charge that much a month. I told my husband I had signed us up (he carries the card but never uses it). Well lo and behold he was at work and needed to pick up a new computer. Someone else had the company credit card so they asked if he could charge it on his own credit card and they would write him a check when he got back to the office. My hubby actually remembered I had signed up for the Disney rewards and used the credit card. It put us well over the $3000 limit!:yay:

Now I'm just waiting for those rewards to show up on my statement.

I always sign up because it doesn't hurt and you never know. Sometimes things come up that you weren't expecting and you may as well get the points if you can. DH is sometimes asked to buy things for work and get reimbursed which works out great for us.

We got the $3000 threshhold for Jan Feb Mar and I made sure to charge all of the bills on it those months plus our airline tickets, the balance of DD's braces (which I had the money for and was going to write the ortho a check). I was over the $3000 each month and am still waiting for the bonus dollars to show up. I called customer service the other day, and they said "it should be coming". They are the only one that I know of that works like this, my other rewards cards give the bonus in the next statement when you get the regular rewards.

This time I got the over $700 for the gas grocercies one, but I'll never get the bonus $ in time for my August trip. This is the worst run rewards card out there, but we just keep using it because it's Disney.

Kudos to your husband! :thumbsup2 My DH wouldn't have remembered.
