Disney Visa Offer in the Mail Today

I received 5x grocery, gas and dining over $250.00 up to $100 bonus max. I was suprised to see this since I just finished a 3x bonus promo 2 weeks ago.

I have been receiving all my bonus points on my statement exactly one month behind the standard 1% rewards.

mine was: 3x's for gas, dining and groceries over $250.
be careful groceries from walmart or target isn't considered "groceries" to chase- at least that's what we were told last time we got this.

I WISH I got this offer, just put down $1800 towards DD upcoming dental appointment. Still owe another $1500. We have no dental now (union dropped it, along with vision) and DD needs to be under anesthesia.

Got mine in the mail, too. 3x awards on groceries and whatever else it said I don't remember now. No minimum. Maximum $100 rewards. I signed up right away!

I received the 3X for purchases over $3000 for Jan-Mar. This worked out perfect since I use the card for everything and I paid off our Disney Dream B2B cruises in January. Then I just received another one for Apr-Jun. I was surprised to get another offer so soon since I had never received one before.

I just got the 3X purchases over 3000 for apr - jun... Might get something out of it hopefully... Can't complain though cause I had gotten 3X rewards on everything from Jan - Mar, which was great.

I got the one for "5X the regular rate on every eligible dollar you spend." Which means I would get 3 Disney Dream Reward Dollars for every $100 I spend on gas, groceries, and dining. I have to spend over $250 each month (from April 15-July 15) to qualify.

I just enrolled!

Was it 3x over a certain amount? I know in the past it was 3x over some set amount, which for me was like $3000, which wouldn't work for me.

Same here. No way we spend $3000 a month, thank goodness.

People should look closely at the reward details. The limits that are listed are usually PER MONTH for the 3 month period. So when it says triple rewards for purchases over $3000, they mean $3000 per month NOT cumulative. At least, that is how mine is and has always been.

We have 2 DVs and got 2 offers:

5xs when you spend over $250 on gas, dining and groceries

3xs when you spend over $300 but no limit on how you spend it

So I think I will do the 3xs because I don't like how grocery stores come up as "other" . I got this offer last quarter too and put my car insurance on there and got the 100 max points!!

That first post shocked me , saying rewards were ending. Thanks for letting us know it is just the debit card and not regular cc. Thanks to my rewards I am going on a cruise in September. I love the rewards.

How long does it take to get the rewards? We had at least 10 "dollars" on the last bill and it's not posted to our account yet. I'm worried since I've been using it like crazy this month and we're going to Disney next month that I won't have the "rewards" in time

Bonus rewards are ususually credited the month after you earned them.

Say your billing is 4/6 - 5/6, your rewards for April will post on your 6/6 billing statement

Yep that is correct. So if the limit is $100 in bonus rewards then you would want to spend $8,000 all in one month at the 3x rate for over $3,000 so you don't have to meet the $3,000 limit each month. That is if you will be spending that much to take full advantage of the offer.

So you need to figure if spending $8,000 is worth getting $240 back - it's not for me and I threw my offer for it away.

We got the "over $3000" offer. We use our disney visa card for just about everything and therefore get penalized whenever these offers come out with a crazy high minimum every time.

So.... we just applied for a chase freedom card (earns 1% back, plus they are doing a special offer for the summer months that earns 5% back on hotels and gas which will come in handy for our trip to South Dakota). Maybe if we stop using the disney card our rewards offers will get better.

I love my Chase Freedom card! They had 5% bonus on groceries(up to $1500/qtr) for Oct-Dec 2010 and Jan-Mar 2011. I earned $100 in Chase Rewards in the last six months. There is an option to receive a check for the rewards. Will be using that card for gasoline purchases come July.
