Has anyone been to the Disney Visa Meet 'n Greet after DCA reopened? I'm wondering if the characters, Pluto and Chip 'n Dale, are still the same and if they have the same Hollywood costumes on. TIA!

Good question! DS LOVES the special meet & greet. I wonder if it's in the same location too??

Where is the location for the meet and greet?

thanks!

Its in DCA at the very end of Hollywood Pictures Backlot, now called Hollywood Land. Go past Monsters Inc & it's on the left hand side. You'll see CM's near it & they will direct you where exactly to go. It's behind a little building so its not visible to the public. You will need to show your Disney Visa card so make sure you have it. This special meet & greet also comes with a FREE character photo that you can pick up at one of the DCA shops before you leave.:thumbsup2

The time of the event changes with the park hours. It begins 30 minutes after DCA opens and lasts for 1.5 hours.

Thanks for the info on what time Pluto and Chip and Dale are there. We got pictures of Chip and Dale last time and would like Pluto this time.

This is our first year having the Disney Visa so we want to take advantage of the picture.I know it is free, but how does that work?Do they give you a voucher at the meet and greet, or do you show your Visa when you pick up the picture:confused3?

Thanks!

They gave us a little voucher card and told us that we didn't have to use it for the picture that we were taking at the Visa Meet & Greet - it was good for any 5x7 on our PhotoPass card :thumbsup2

So, I know the rule is that you can get your free photo printout for any photopass picture that has a character in it.

However, has anyone tested them on whether the streetmosphere performers are considered characters or not?

I would love to get photos with the Policeman, Photographer, The Lady with the Dog, etc.

That's an awesome question! I don't know... I know we've been able to use our voucher for Rapunzel M&G.

I thought the recent policy change was that the voucher could now be redeemed for any photopass picture at either park. That's what they told us back in April when we visited the Meet 'n Greet. Anyone else have this experience?

There is a new character there...I can leave it a surprise...or tell if you want....
When we got ours last week, I asked whether we were going to see Pluto or Chip and Dale. The CM told me there was someone new, but he left it a surprise until it was our turn and rounded the corner.

When we turned in our voucher, the CM at Kingswell said that we could use it for any photo, but they preferred that there be a character in the picture.

I would love to know. As to not ruin the surprise for everyone else would you please PM me with the details. Thank you.

I would also love to know who the surprise character is for the meet and greet. Can you PM me as well with the info. Thanks so much!!
