Disney Visa free dining question

Does anyone know if the free dining is for ONLY the dates listed or if arrive before or after, does the free dining carry over? For example, it's free Dec. 14-20 but what if we arrive Dec. 12 and stay to the 20th, would it all be free?

No, your arrival date must be within the promotion window. (However, if you arrive within the promotion window and stay past its closing date, say you arrive on the 19th and stay until the 25th, you get free dining for your entire stay. It just can't be done the other way around.)

You would have to split your stay into two separate reservations if you wanted to keep those dates and get free dining. And that gets tricky when it comes to buying tickets, because you must buy some sort of ticket with the free dining package.

Above poster is correct. We arrived this year on 8/22 and free dining started on 8/24. We did a 2 day room only ressie before the FDP began. We arrived late on 8/22 so that was no biggie. On 8/23 we had breakfast at AKL...I had always wanted to check it out. Then we went to DTD and back to the resort to swim & relax by the pool. There is plenty to do that doesn't require a park ticket if you want to go for the free dining.

I agree. Your days prior to the starting day of the promotion would not be free dining. We are arriving on the 13th of December, but free dining does not start until the 14th so we have a room-only res for the 13th.
