Disney Visa discount question

We are visiting Disney World with my sister-in-law's family in March. We have linked our package reservations. She just recently got a Disney Visa (we don't use credit cards) so I'm wondering, if a discount is released to Visa card holders earlier than the general public, could she use it for our reservation as well? I know PIN's allow for a couple of reservations (as long as they are linked) but I don't know if Visa discounts work differently. Anyone have some insight into this?

She could. She would need to put a new deposit using her DV on each reservation.

Does she need to do that now to be able to get the discount or wait and see what's released? Sorry to be so clueless! Thanks!

No worries! :)

She can just do it if/when she's applying a DV discount.

I don't even know why I got a Visa card for Disney. They never send me "Chase offers" and yeah I am collecting the rewards points but it's only $1 for every $100 spent. Does anyone actually get offers through Chase for Disney vacations?

You won't get special offers through Chase. Typically, DV holders receive the public discounts a few days early and have early booking access to those discounts. They didn't do it for the latest round and it went straight to the public. Lots of people don't get the Chase announcements and find out here first.

You can use your card for minor discounts at different locations at Disney and a special photo op at Epcot. Lots of people have the premier card and get double points so they're racking up a bit more in rewards dollars.

I had my card for about 6 months, put my trip on it and snagged several hundred dollars by the time my trip rolled around so I was able to have my girls do the BBB for free.
